Beware of hiring these people. Their over-inflated egos lead to poor decisions and unrealistic expectations.” The Dunning-Kruger Effect, but for career development.

@benkohlmann @PeteModi Agreed. There’s no technology solution to the core challenge. “Over time” is not good news for technology nor investors.

@PeteModi @lukasnaugle Definitely an important tool - we’re seeing a lot of AI tools emerge that scape all the open topics across govt websites and will even write the application. That said, building real relationships over time with decision makers still seem to have an outsized influence.

based on recent conversations with a number of early stage defense tech companies, the most in-demand role is a strong government GTM BD lead... Shows that good tech doesnt matter as much in B2G...knowing how to build relationships and navigate the byzantine bureaucracy is key
