@grilme99 You were awesome to work with and I’m always excited to see what you’re up to :D

@MaximumADHD I remember @Zooleos making BedWars kill effects this way!

@grilme99 @RobloxBedWars An accurate set of types is already underway :)

For anyone writing @RobloxBedWars scripts externally, I've hand-written a type declaration file for Luau LSP. You'll need to add this to your project and configure the LSP to use it.
(Please BedWars team, auto-generate this. Mine probably has mistakes.)

@JullianRBLX Ouch we need to add BedWars and Islands to that list! Didn’t even know it was an option.

@Shedletsky Hot take: Anything below lil nas Roblox-concert quality isn't worth putting your huge brand on.
I have a paranoia that brands will catch on to this eventually and leave Roblox if we keep getting mid-tier events
English

@Rblxopplo This takes up so much of our time on @RobloxBedWars

@CodeRainster @LaundryIm @Roblox_RTC If we built the game as we did BedWars, it would be lag free for the masses. But it would suffer the same cheater problem that we’re seeing on BedWars.
English

@CodeRainster @LaundryIm @Roblox_RTC That made it feel like there was no future to the project. We had no purchasable content available either. It was a very ambitious project so we made sure not to collect robux in the case it doesn’t work out.

@sleitnick @howmanysmaII @cutewitchphoebe This!! Shipping with 100% TS code is so much easier than with a lua codebase. Especially when you're doing liveops and need to refactor often.
English

@howmanysmaII @cutewitchphoebe I would argue I'm much more productive with TS than with Lua, and I avoid so many more headaches along the way as the codebase scales up
