@AzureSupport Have been getting slowness and errors like this on the portal and also my colleagues (we’re all working in different locations so not a local issue)

English

@m_at_b Hey there, thanks for reaching out. When you say you're receiving alerts, what kind of alerts are you receiving? ^TL
English

@AzureSupport are there known issues with azure front door from / to the UK, the portal is very slow and we’re getting alerts about availability to some of our resources behind front doors
English

@jamesjwyork My village has a state boarding school, education is paid by state and therefore non-selective and day/weekly boarding facilities are paid by parents
English

@JamesJWYork @CertusCC I’m sure when most people think of the word pensioner they think of some dotty old white haired granny in her 90s, that’s not what the majority of pensioners really are. My parents are both pensioners and are still working (through choice, they have nice pensions as well!)
English

@JamesJWYork @CertusCC Do yours or mine or many many older people we know really need this money each winter? It costs an absolute fortune, the tories did similar to child benefit which has hit younger better off folk, makes perfect sense to do this from my pov.
English

@JamesJWYork How have they talked down the stock market in the past 4 days? Also wasn’t the currency devaluation a few years back due to some event the real cause of the cheapness?
English

@JamesJWYork Although apparently Callaghan was a lefty, went to a state school and ended his days in our village so may have beaten you to it
English

@JamesJWYork @rl_chris_higham Changed in 2022, guess Rishi had all the land rovers still en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Min…
English

@m_at_b @rl_chris_higham Btw - prime minister is required to carry a black tie and black suit every where they go….
These people think of everything. So rest assured, there is always time to think of the car.
English

@JamesJWYork @rl_chris_higham You really are desperate for him to fail aren’t you? I imagine choice of car was very low down list of things to worry about
English

@m_at_b @glenn_pierce The left don’t like political opponents.
Don’t ignore how left wing politics behaves. It’s as bad as the tories in its own ways
English

It’s so icky that Labour can literally pass any law they like.
Oh and they will.
Blair rarely kept his word.
We’re in for a tricky 5 yrs.
I wish Keir the best - but his party are going to own him.

@glenn_pierce @m_at_b I disagree. I think there’s a heck of a lot of corbynite sleepers and if Starmer is toppled who the hell knows what the next leader does.
They could vote to ban tories. I genuinely wouldn’t put it past them
English

@JamesJWYork Can’t say I’m enthused by Starmer, this is no ‘97. But the tories are a spent force and need to be thrown out for a bit.
English

@JamesJWYork No one likes to pay more tax, what never seems to comment on is the tax pays for, we benefit from so we get a return on our tax. I get there is the big state vs small state arg, govts spend money badly arg. But I think we should try a different approach after this shower.
English

@JamesJWYork I don’t disagree it’s huge, but I don’t think it’s going to make a huge difference to how a govt with a decent majority operates
English

@m_at_b Matt, trust me - a 300-400 seat majority is insanely unprecedented.
It presents major democratic deficit.
80 wasn’t used ? Apart from the whole authoritarian lockdown in covid..
English

@JamesJWYork But 45 rebels would have been huge as well, did that ever happen or even close?
Tories brought this on themselves. Good riddance, can’t think of a single thing they’ve improved. More worrying is what comes in 5 years time? Who knows where the opposition will have lurched.
English

@m_at_b Not really because the tories could rebel and or labour coax them to amendments.
But 200?! 200 rebels? Nah.
Equally 280 rebels and he may even be undercut by his own Corbynites.
It’s quite unsettlingly huge.
