@haris_chc The question is why would they do this. The old identity worked great.

My alma mater, Chalmers University of Technology did a rebrand and it's really bad. I don't like to dunk on other people's work, but this is just off on so many points. The main new element is the tilted A in the wordmark, derived from their motto Avancez (Advance). While it makes sense conceptually, I think it's really poorly executed. The school is almost 200 years old, institutions carry weight, and that needs to be reflected. This just totally misses the mark. And then there is the color. The launch was so poor many believed the emblem had been removed entirely (in many places it had), so a few hours after launch they switched back to the emblem icon on socials. While the design is underwhelming, there's another lesson here in how you present a rebrand. Chalmers mainly changed its digital surfaces without clearly explaining where and how the emblem, wordmark, and logomark would be used. They did clarify after the fact, but by then it was too late. About 2,000 students have signed a petition to revert to the old logo.

I've combined immigrant share % from the problem countries (MENAPTA) with the government surveys of people feeling safe in their local community. It's a plot that doesn't leave a lot of doubt.

@DannyLimanseta Yeah, these micro-decisions are so important. Even though it's easy to release a swarm of agents to build a fully functional product in a day.

Whatever you can imagine, you can vibe code it. Imagination isn't talked about enough in the context of vibe coding. After vibe coding for a year now, I've realised that your imagination is the limiting factor when it comes to vibe coding (or building) anything. Whatever you can't imagine will not be built. Like all other skills, imagination is something that needs to be honed. 1. Imagination fidelity How clearly you can visualise a concept in your mind determines how well you can simulate your idea. Having high imagination fidelity means you can describe what you want more precisely, which means the AI can build it more accurately. 2. Imagination library Imagination is heavily reliant on what you've been exposed to. If you're building a game, you need to play lots of games. If you're building an app, you need to use lots of apps. Exposure is what fills your imagination library, and your library is what you draw from when you're running simulations. As AI models get more powerful, your imagination is going to be the differentiator in a sea of derivative ideas that will get vibe coded into existence. It's worth building and honing it.

@FredrikHjelm4 Sweden is no doubt in a good position, but 2.7% GDP growth seems unlikely. With better labour laws, a more focused unified income tax and benefits system and relaxed housing supply restrictions we would be in a much better position.

The most underrated economy in the Western world right now is Sweden. I’m not being patriotic, I’m looking at the numbers. GDP growth forecast for 2026: 2.7%. That’s ahead of the US, the entire Euro area, UK, France, and Germany. Not by a little. Government debt at 34.8% of GDP. The Euro area sits at 88.5%. The US is at 125%. We have fiscal room that most Western governments would kill for. Budget deficit at -2.4%, the tightest in the peer group. France and the UK are running -5.5%. The US is at -7%. And Sweden’s deficit is partly Spring Budget expansion from a low-debt base, not structural weakness. Inflation at 1.6%, below the Riksbank’s 2% target. Core ex-energy is around 1.1%. The Riksbank is paused at 1.75%, one of the lowest policy rates in the developed world. I know the political conversation in Sweden often feels like everything is broken. Some things genuinely are. And part of it is that media has a Sweden story it likes (crime gang rape!!!) and this doesn’t fit it. But the macroeconomic position? It’s strong. Stronger than almost anyone in our peer group. The uncomfortable question is what we actually do with that position. Because fiscal space only matters if someone uses it. I would hit the gas, and let Sweden build and thrive.

@levelsio Some use-cases might be taken by general AI systems, but I think there will be a huge space left for entrepreneur. Anthropic building a Lovable-like tool is evidence to the contrary. Lovable is not in a small niche, but instead allows for more entrepreneurs in small niches.

I said this I forgot to who but I said it BigTech will eventually come for all apps / startups / companies because they can fill the niches now that before could not because they were too small Those niches is where entrepeneurs hung out, nice parts of the market people could build a little SaaS with $100K/y to even $100M/y, notjing like the $100B/y revenue BigTech was doing, but worth it With AI now BigTech can fill those niches + they are the ones training and owning the best models, and keeping the best models for themselves they can outcompete anyone who doesn't own them (everyone except other BigTech) End game for their survival is simply trying to take every business, it's just capitalism This completely changes the prospect for entrepreneurs as there won't be much left, because BigTech is financially incentivized to have to take everything Because if they don't, their competitor will! x.com/marmaduke091/s…

@alightinastorm Agreed, just not sure what that UI is. I have built an infinite canvas for folders/files in which llm can interact with all files and agents be in that space. I much prefer this over just chatbots, even though it is essentially just chatbots with better overview and context.

agents in messengers were a ux mistake the actually useful agents will be on a contextually aware ui dedicated to them chat apps sound great as the universal interface until you realize that an endless stream of token context may be great for AI, but it limits context discovery for humans these chat-only apps are designed agent first, we need a human centered approach instead screenshot this

🧑‍🚀 Day 5 of the @cursor_ai #vibejam Proudly sponsored by @cursor_ai + @boltdotnew + @heyglif Today a little bit about Cursor 3, it's a completely rebuilt interface designed around agents, you can run multiple AI agents in parallel, hand off between local and cloud, and go from commit to merged PR. It's powered by Composer 2, their own frontier coding model that tops benchmarks at $0.50/M input tokens — and the Fast variant runs at 200 tokens/sec, more than 2x faster than other frontier models. Perfect for vibe coding your game jam entry. And @edwinarbus from Cursor is here to help you if you get stuck! Lots of activity again today again on here, the best games (or well previews) I saw today: 🍣 Sushi Belt by @0xSteen 🌊 Surfing Simulator by @sweriko (this one is a basic demo but very promising as it has realistic water physics) 🦆 Grand Quack Auto by @ky__zo (or as I like to call it Bali Simulator) 🏛️ Roman Combat Sim by @ttrusner (continued from yesterday because it's had a lot of progress I think) YOU HAVE 24 DAYS LEFT! Reply in this thread with updates on your current games to share your progress, and add tag #vibejam so I see and can include you in the daily tweet There's $35,000 in prizes for you to win, see threads below for more info. The Gold prize is $20,000, bronze is $10,000 and silver is $5,000! Wanna to participate? You can still start today and submit your game any time before May 1!

🧑‍🚀 Day 4 of the @cursor_ai #vibejam Proudly sponsored by @cursor_ai + @boltdotnew + @heyglif So the new sponsor is @heyglif: Glif is like Claude Code for AI videos and content generation: you can build launch videos for your game, explore asset styles with 100+ AI models/tools and train it on your favorite workflows via skills! Use it to make trailers, game assets, promo videos and more for your Vibe Jam submission! Tomorrow @fabianstelzer from Glif will share more to help you create promotion materials for your games! Because it'd be cool if after the Vibe Jam your games will take off and become actual games Again browsing the #vibejam tag on X today and there's so many people building cool, cute and fun games so it was hard, but I picked my favorite 4 ones from today: - A literal 🪰 "fly" simulator, not flight simulator 😂 by @el_rei_gabriel - What looks like a multiplayer Roman combat simulator by @TTrussner - LeBeau Motel (another?) Habbo Hotel remix by @VynseDev - Roomba Wars by @thijsmakes which is descriptive enough to not need an explanation 😁 Reply in this thread with updates on your current games to share your progress! Do you want to participate? You can still start now and submit your game any time before May 1! There's $35,000 in prizes you can win, see threads below for more info!

i can spot a grifter from miles away. so i digged into the code to figure out if this is legit or not. guess i was right. ben is a crypto founder who runs some weird bitcoin lending platform, i was pretty sure he knows absolutely nothing about ai and memory so i tracked down the repo myself since i was curious. his website says he likes to build ai powered products and train local ai models? sure man, 80% of your github repo's are bitcoin related stuff. only one ai related project came up you forked in 2024. mempalace has 10k github stars, more than 1k forks but only.. 7 commits ? apparently the best memory layer to date? no git author history, no account connected to whoever wrote the code of this codebase. it doesn't add up.. the account who pushed the original repo, named: aya-thekeeper, under aya-thekeeper/mempal got deleted right after the repo got published. you paid a random guy named lu to build this shit out for you. ( "Written by Lu (DTL) — March 24, 2026. For: Ben." ) - benchmark md file. lu wrote the code. lu wrote the benchmarks. lu is nowhere in the readme. or mentioned in the github history? the git history then got squashed to one commit and published under milla jovovich? seriously? a actress? you say she is a great friend of yours, she has been building this project with you. she does this at night. yet she has.. 7 commits and only 2 active days in her entire github history? you paid an actress and a random guy to promote a product you know absolutely nothing about.
Ben Sigman@bensig

30 second explanation of the MemPalace by Milla Jovovich. By day she’s filming action movies, walking Miu Miu fashion shows, and being a mom. By night she’s coding. She’s the most creative, brilliant, and hilarious person I know. I’m honored to be working with her on this project… more to come.
