Funny story: when I was elected as an MP in 2015, I was celebrating with my mum that weekend and told her I had to go down to London on the Sunday night for Parliament on Monday. She looked at me, confused, and asked why I had to go to London. “Because that’s where Parliament is,” I told her, and laughed.
