@StevenJMiles Is there anyway for a household to donate this to those who maybe need it more?

You read that right. A massive $1,000 lump sum credit will be applied automatically to your power bill. Every household, everywhere in Queensland. Any amount you don’t use will stay on your account as a credit for future bills.

@mackc5 @DaveTaylorNews May last year was a full percent for the month. So if this may is roughly the same as April, inflation could drop by approx 0.6-0.8% (circa 6%) all other things being equal. We should be looking at previous 6 or less months on an annualised basis to gauge current inflation.

@mackc5 @DaveTaylorNews It’s because the fuel excise relief started in April 2022, which abnormally lowered transport costs, which made the 12 month inflation to April 2023 seem larger.

@DaveTaylorNews My tip is on hold as monthly number needs time to work out why transportation was up 7%+ for the month with most other areas down

Tell 'em the price, Son! - tell 'em the price... 🥸 Martin @DFA_Analyst & I warned followers of the Monday Rant - months ago... #justsaying 1) Less people will do renovations greater than $50K... 2) Landlords will opt out of "rental investment" & sell... 3) Industry calling huge increase in construction costs to meet new Energy Efficiency Standards...

A new breed of pre-fabricated homes near Camden is promising to slash power bills. It comes amid calls for every home in Australia to be given an energy rating to help buyers and renters make better choices. @LizzyBryan1 #9News
