@mcrstuart @JulesDProperty The right people can raise their standards prioritise the party principles and hold each other to account. They need support to reach the right heights. A bit of enthusiasm can go a long way.

@JulesDProperty He hasn’t got enough quality people. Some of those close to him are pushing intelligent businessmen and others out of local groups for asking inconvenient questions. Many involved in that are ex-Conservative, ex-Reform or both. They all have their own agendas. I’m not optimistic.

Just arrived back from working elsewhere and I’m astounded by the percentage of apparent special needs people. Then there’s the alcohol and drugs problems which with the state of the place I fully understand.

I am a very law-abiding family man. I’ve always worked hard, have a good job, pay a lot of tax. I believe strongly in manners, respect and tradition. The fact that I feel as if the state is against me and would likely lock me up for my views is terrifying. The UK is utterly lost.

@Eirealainn2024 I’ve worked since 9 years old picking tatties. Things got tricky financially as a parent so I left for a better living. I invested everything in the UK and I’m back in Scotland waiting to be robbed again and again by the tax man especially if I sell up or die.

Our only source of income is fees. No option but to increase them to stay viable . Blame the chancellor -not us.
