The Los Angeles Pacific Palisades fire this morning was NOT an accident. This morning there was a separate fire set in downtown Los Angeles at the SAME time as 15 miles away in Pacific Palisades (over an hour in LA traffic). I believe this was to divert resources (over 100 firefighters went to downtown) so that the Palisades fire couldn’t be contained. On Dec 26th a fire occurred in downtown on the SAME block as today that I believe was the test run to see how many firefighters would be diverted in planning for the fires this morning. In exchange for pleading guilty to all of his charges, he received a suspended sentence of eight years and five years of probation, meaning that as long as he doesn’t violate his conditions he will avoid time behind bars.
