You don't have a tool deficit. You have a coherence deficit. Cairn is a calm macOS menu-bar app I've been building solo: one question, one keystroke, forgiveness over streaks. Waitlist is open. cairnday.com/?l=1

Everyone obsesses over writing the perfect post. That's exactly backwards. Your posts are how strangers find out you exist. Your replies are how strangers decide they care.

@tdinh_me yeah speed means nothing if you gotta redo the whole thing been there with the "fast but wrong" tradeoff too many times

Tried Composer 2.5 on a semi-complicated task, the result is far worse than Opus 4.7 High or GPT 5.5 High. But it was fast.

@DanielSmidstrup judgment and shipping speed ai writes the code but you still gotta know what to build and actually put it out there

Builders, what's the part founders still have to get better at if ai handles more of the work? speed? decision-making? shipping habit? outreach? marketing? judgment?

@TTrimoreau the ability to ship fast and kill features that don't work most people overthink instead of iterate

@KaiXCreator hard paywall if your product solves a real pain point people who need it will pay immediately, tire kickers waste your time with trials

Hey devs, which paywall will hit $10K MRR quickly? - Hard paywall - 7-day free trial - 3-day free trial - Free + paid (freemium) - Soft paywall

I just killed two apps from my workflow with one keyboard shortcut. ⌥-Space, type "Call Lena tomorrow at 9am," done. Parses on device, lands in Reminders at the right time. No app switching because there's no app to switch to. Got this working in Cairn today.

@DegenApeDev @theo Yeah, saw that - honestly makes me even more confident in the CLI bet, the surface keeps shifting but the terminal stays rock solid.

Well if you refuse to try new things you'll get stuck in the past. Clause code is alright but it's just a single agent client doesn't even do swarms. You'd be better off with OpenCode but Antigravity v2 actually beat OpenCode for speed because the Google TPUs are sending you tokens with Gemini Flash 3.5 at like 20,000 tps and claude is sending you opus and sonnet at 50-89 tps That's the difference

@DegenApeDev @theo I mean it's cool, but I'd rather run skills with Claude for designing, frontend, backend etc. plus I love CLI over IDE any day

@DegenApeDev @theo I refuse to try it-I run Claude Code on a 20x Max Plan with Gemini Pro on the side, and Claude still wipes the floor with it.

@madebypetr @theo So you tried the new Antigravity v2? I made a whole workout app in 2 min. It had photos, instructions, directions a database and audible timers and flow. Quite impressive actually

@DegenApeDev @theo No way-I bounced because the models were ancient, updates were basically extinct (until now), and agent errors were driving me insane.

This guy literally turned that 4-hour research session into 4 minutes with Claude Cowork Now you don't have to spend 4-5 hours a day on research reading hundreds of articles and hundreds of posts now you can literally spend 4 minutes on everything every day and setting up this method will take you less than 30 minutes but thanks to this: > your productivity will increase > you'll have more time > better research will be done > only get high-quality information > fast data processing

i’m trying to make AI coding tools generate design outputs that actually feel personalized so i just shipped a big update to the Taste MCP: project-specific design collections you can reference in Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, etc. build collections with design references and ask your AI coding tool to reference the collection when building!
