@AfricanBank so I see African Bank is adamant to support a fraudulently acquired Soweto Marathon regardless of all pointers that there is a legal dispute going on, apart from Athletics SA, openly know to have acted against corporate governance, PFMA, and Treasury regulations. This further exercerbated by the pronouncement made by the minister on the need for a forensic investigation against ASA. Also the intense interrogation during the Portfolio Committee meeting and one of direct questions I asked being “who owns Soweto Marathon between Soweto Marathon Trust and Soweto Marathon Pty now known as Soweto Marathon NPC that is owned by a friend to the ASA close ally.” Well all I can say, it is at your own peril if African Bank is willing to associate with stolen goods, we shall meet at the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture.
