Played many times there incl v Inter Services. Slow, slow flat surface hard work for seamers - never much joy!

Sri Lanka’s First Overseas Test win
#OnThisDay in 1995, Sri Lanka national cricket team secured their first overseas Test victory after 32 attempts, defeating New Zealand national cricket team in Napier by 241 runs.
Chaminda Vaas starred with five wickets in each innings, becoming the first Sri Lankan to claim ten wickets in a Test, while debutant wicketkeeper Chamara Dunusinghe contributed a vital 91.
Despite being put in to bat and dismissed for just 183 on the first day, Sri Lanka still managed a 74-run lead.
Sri Lanka wrapped up a famous win on the final day.
