Today I was blessed to join worship at PCEA Nairobi West Parish during a special service for widows and widowers. Seeing the church intentionally create a space of love, comfort, dignity, and hope for this often overlooked group in society was deeply touching. The encouragement, fellowship, and prayers reminded me that the Church is not just a place of worship, but a family that walks with people through life’s hardest seasons. Having been raised by a widow, I personally understand the silent struggles, sacrifices, and challenges many widows go through. Today’s service was therefore very special to me — not only inspiring, but also healing and encouraging. May God continue to use the Church to uplift, strengthen, and restore hope to widows and widowers in our communities ❤️ #MamaMiradi #MamaNairobi
