RKLB was ~$80 in January before climbing to ~$140 leading up to the SpaceX IPO. I'm guessing he started to sell in January, did the mental math on how much he'd be up if he'd held through June, and FOMO'd more call options at the top as analysts called it "cheap vs SPCX."

The same people who were chasing stocks at the top are now suddenly bearish after a pullback. If you thought buying then made sense, explain why buying now doesn't. The risk/reward is way more attractive today than it was at the highs. Memory is cheaper ( $SKHY, $DRAM, $MU). Photonics is cheaper ( $AAOI, $CRDO, $LITE) Neoclouds are cheaper( $NBIS, $CRWV, $IREN). And more sectors like energy, etc.. If your long-term thesis hasn't changed, why has your conviction? Let me summarize it like this: Do your own research, build your own conviction, and don't be a little bitch who lets clowns on X think for you. If your thesis changes every time someone with a big following flips bullish or bearish, you never had a thesis to begin with.

I feel like this has been a hot topic and let me explain my thoughts here. A lot of people feel that someone who gambles will not be helped by a bail out. If you feel this way don’t donate. The truth is yes this is a very hard lesson and trust me he is not bailed out by $7500. (No one is) I think this is a nice gesture from the community to help him get back on his feet. From the community that he has enormously helped and lot of people might have grown stronger in their convictions and thereby made a lot of money. So my opinion is that from the community this is the right thing to do. For me this is the right thing to do. But you guys do you. @JacobKeeton20 was very brave for being transparent and sharing this very difficult thing and hopefully he and we all learn from this. I don’t think mean comments are what he needs now and I’m very sure what ever bad things you are commenting he is thinking that already to himself and worse. I hope that @JacobKeeton20 can use this to cover a few months of living expenses so he can get a high paying job so he can invest again. And this time do it right. He is a very intelligent guy and I’m sure he will get back on his feet soon. And in a few years this will be a story he tells his friends and he laughs at. Anyways if this upsets you don’t donate. $RKLB, $ASTS, $QS, $ETH: The number of doomers posting is a strong indication we're close to bottoming if not already. At least that's my take on one of the strongest reversal signals in the markets today (i.e., the retail squeal). I've got a little more cash to deploy and couldn't be happier with these prices as I've lived through several 40-70% drawdowns on these companies. When you have strong management and the company is firing on all cylinders, all you have to do is wait for blood in the streets and buy, IMO. GLTA and NFA...

Bought the Iridium book "Eccentric Orbits" and while at it, might as well pick up a future $RKLB phone. Bezos can deliver this same-day, but can't deliver an $ASTS BlueBird to proper orbit. He needs to stick with terrestrial deliveries and leave what's above to $SPCX and Labs.

Where you buy matters. The major indices are hiding the true structural damage under the hood, but this heatmap exposes reality. I’m sorry but $RKLB is NOT undervalued at a $40b market cap. $ASTS is NOT undervalued at a $20b market cap. The wind in the space theme sails has dissipated and will remain gone for some time. IMO $SPCX going public was the worst thing that could happen to space stocks. The allure of investing in space when you couldn’t own $SPCX is now gone. Not being able to invest in $SPCX was a giant tailwind and huge momentum driver. Deny it all you want, but it’s true. Expect to see $RKLB in the 40s, $ASTS in the 30s. $SPCX will be under a $1T market cap.

The Helsinki Court of Appeal has cleared three men who raped a heavily intoxicated 17-year-old girl in a wooded area in Finland. The girl was so drunk that she had actually been taken to the hospital for intoxication just before the assault. The three men then raped her in the woods right outside the hospital. Both the District Court and the Court of Appeal completely dismissed all charges and let the men walk free without any convictions. Judges ruled that despite her severe intoxication, CCTV footage showed she was still legally capable of forming and expressing consent. The court decided that the men could have believed the teenager was agreeing to having sex, ultimately freeing them from all criminal responsibility. It is completely fucked up that a court thinks a teenager drunk enough to need a hospital is somehow sober enough to consent to three grown men. Being drunk does not mean consent. Not saying no does not mean consent. If someone is too intoxicated to care for themselves, they cannot give real consent, period.
