Paper came back from review today. The editor (not the reviewers) tells me: 1) Redo the GWAS using a different statistical model in a different software package. 2) Add a brand new RNA-seq experiment and results. 3) Please submit your revised manuscript within 14 days. 🤷

6. Canada has one of the top standards of living 7. We become more economically reliant on Canada and the USA than ever 8. No more health/police transfers 9. No more universal health care 10. Canada is the best country in the world and we would be worse off in every way

Thanks for the comment! Happy to take the question (in no particular order) 1. We have no currency and our economy would die 2. We have no military 3. Trade with Canada becomes harder/more expensive 4. Businesses would leave quickly 5. We aren't parties to free trade agreements
