[🚨] HDC MD Zuhair, DMD Asbah, Harins Allo, and Harins Ammadey were bribed MVR 28m by Asters' MD Kaleem to sell them the prime 30,000 sqft land (Lot 11673) in Hulhumale Phase 1 adjacent to Asters' current plot without any competitive bidding. This is the only such vacant land remaining in Hulhumale P1. The plot was sold under "direct allocation". Direct allocation means bypassing all competitive bidding processes and awarding something to someone directly. This is usually done when the company needs to raise funds urgently under real emergencies or natural catastrophes like earthquakes and tsunamis when there is no time for a competitive bidding process. After Asters officially submitted their EOI for the plot to HDC's Board, DMD Asbah pressured the Company Secretary (CS) to schedule the item for the board meeting on 29th April. When CS said they cannot agenda an item without permission from the Board Chairman, Asbah got furious and shouted at him. MD Zuhair called the CS afterwards and said it was "mathin angaigen," implying it was an order from Raees. CS finally gave in to the pressure, and the HDC Board was set to deliberate on the item (item number: 2026/53) that day. The item was placed 11th on the agenda, and Harins Ammadey was at HDC till late evening to ensure this deal goes smoothly. Out of the MVR 28m dished out in bribes by Asters, ~15m was for Raees, and the remaining ~13m was distributed among HDC management. A portion of this bribe money was also distributed to 3 SC Justices to rule in favor of govt in the @AleeVoice case last week. ACC won't investigate this because DMD Asbah gave a large commercial unit from the brand new Reethigas Residence to a proxy of ACC President Shamil just 3 weeks ago. This was the same week Raees attempted to remove Asbah from his position as DMD. This attempt was blocked by the Harins Brothers; they used Raees' involvement in these corruption cases as leverage and said that it would be exposed. Zuhair, and Asbah's corruption is now on full swing, and are trying to steal as much as possible as their jobs are now at risk.
