Sean Lock died today. He is responsible for maybe the funniest four minutes on the internet: Carrot in a Box. You should really watch it. youtu.be/0UGuPvrsG3E

This position occurred in the Lichess Bundesliga. Surprisingly, GM Gata Kamsky playing black only has one winning move. Can you find it? (Gata did, in 2.9 seconds)

Dear @NewinChess, I've ordered a book from your online shop on March 25, 2020. I waited patiently until May 26 but it did not reach me. On that day, I emailed your office for a refund. More than three weeks later, no reply still. I'll never order anything again from you. Cheers.

@LindsayTedds That’s awful. Don’t let it get to you, Lindsay. Like many others, I learn a lot from your tweets.

@MacRoweNick Sounds similar to the Werning et al 2-sector model you previously mentioned. r* could go either way in that case.

Another metaphor: (I'm thinking out loud) Buyers & sellers face transport costs of travelling to & from markets. Transport costs temporarily increase (for some goods more than others, some markets close). What happens to r*? Not obvious (to me). 1/

Would like to hear more on plans to maintain production at major firms. Are there in-house testing, clinics, physical distance protocols, protective equipment, etc. being arranged so that, before too long, many of their workers can work? Demand stimulus doesn’t replace output.
