@badlogicgames Microsoft and other tech giants push the narrative that 100% of their code is AI-generated because they want you to be dependent on their tools💊 And it makes sense, cause they’re the ones who built the tech and poured billions into making sure you're hooked

Claude can now control your computer. Open apps. Browse the web. Fill spreadsheets. But here's the question nobody's asking: Where does that compute run? Who sees your screen data? How do you verify the AI isn't hallucinating your bank transfer? This is why we built Sealed Inference. Verifiable AI execution inside TEEs — not "trust the proxy." The agentic era needs infrastructure that proves what happened, not just promises it did.

@peaq Appreciate the transparency but then vagueness is frustrating. What is the upstream dependency!? AWS? 🤣

Block production on peaq has been restored. The issue was caused due to an upstream dependency. If you’re running a node, please restart it with the updated binary: - GitHub: github.com/peaqnetwork/pe… - Docker: hub.docker.com/r/peaq/paracha… - Google Drive: drive.google.com/drive/folders/…
peaq@peaq

Block production on peaq has stalled. This is likely due to an upstream dependency. We are investigating the issue with the partner in question and are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We’ll keep you updated in this thread.

5 minutes ago, @karpathy just dropped karpathy/jobs! he scraped every job in the US economy (342 occupations from BLS), scored each one's AI exposure 0-10 using an LLM, and visualized it as a treemap. if your whole job happens on a screen you're cooked. average score across all jobs is 5.3/10. software devs: 8-9. roofers: 0-1. medical transcriptionists: 10/10 💀 karpathy.ai/jobs

You all know by now I’m a big fan of $TAO, and subnets in particular, so let me share something. At this point, there is one subnet that really stands out to me. That subnet is Subnet 44 - Score. I’ve reiterated several times that I believe this will be the first breakout subnet. Let me explain why. Most Bittensor subnets operate in markets where margins are tough. Even if you look at projects like Chutes, which I genuinely think is a strong project, selling compute with meaningful margins is hard. At the end of the day, compute is still compute. Even with a solid integration layer on top, you’re largely reselling infrastructure, and margins remain thin. With Score, that dynamic is different. Their edge is the product itself. They are serving an industry that, for the most part, doesn’t fully exist yet. Yes, some companies use certain forms of Vision AI, but many still rely heavily on human annotators, or more importantly, they don’t use their camera footage at all. Take a supermarket chain as an example. They already have cameras installed everywhere. But those cameras are mostly used reactively, to review incidents after something goes wrong. The untapped potential is enormous. Just off the top of my head: 🔸 Fully automated inventory resupply 🔸 Customer behavior analytics (where do customers stop, what do they look at, for how long, and what they ultimately choose) 🔸 Staffing optimisation 🔸 Automated shoplifting detection And these are just surface-level examples, I’m not even a specialist in this field. The core issue today is cost. Using camera footage intelligently is simply too expensive for most companies. Thats where Score changes the equation. By making Vision AI better, faster and cheaper, they unlock entirely new value streams. There is a massive amount of underutilized camera data globally and Score is positioning itself to monetize that inefficiency. What gives me real conviction is this: They already have paying customers, which they are already delivering real world value. And they are doing this before Manako is even live, which will directly, and fully automated by code in the form of a manifest, translate real world partnership tasks to miner challenges. This will significantly accelerate their whole operation. To go back to my earlier point: Score isn’t just aiming to break even against miner emissions. They are building with margin in mind. They are building to be profitable. At the moment, no other subnet is operating at this level. Sure, some are progressing well, but moving from a decent product to scalable, paying enterprise customers is a massive leap. Score is miles ahead, both on landing enterprise customers and on becoming actually profitable.

1/16 Farewell Hydra, see you around. 6 years ago @gregusjakub and I sat in Progressbar Hackerspace, pissed off at AMM inefficiencies and decided to build something better. I'd have burned out from my previous work, was nearly homeless after helping friends for free. Organizing events, building products and hardware. But I knew I wanted to work on real decentralization.

6/16 There are many examples from the last 6 years that should seriously embarrass the "leadership." Nobody in there seems to have any clue or care about the projects that were or are left in the ecosystem. I always got the same question on every conference: "why stay?" The answer used to be good tech. I can't say that now with constant critical bugs, breaking changes, and infra that doesn't exist after 6 years. The only reason people outside still have some respect for it are the immaculate Web0 events.
