In other words they prevented hundreds of terror attacks on civilians in 2023 alone. Many of us don't understand the impact of their work because they work silently, don't seek anything in return and never say that you exist because we exist or if you lived today, thank the NIA. One of the few organisations in India apart from Army, ISRO, RAW, etc who just do their work and don't seek any favours for it.

Protesting farmers have taken hostage a CID officer, Satendra Pal, near the Jind border, as per media reports. If you are angry about this, please calm down and think rationally. We exist because of farmers. Farmers nahi to hum nahi. Hame existence dene ke badle agar wo hum me se do-chaar ko kidnap kar bhi lete hain to kaun si badi baat ho gayi? Haq hai unka. In fact, I suggest farmer unions should add "the right to kidnap anyone during the protest" to their list of demands to the govt.

At this point, Punjab farmers should stop farming and spare us the charity. I am sure more enterprising farmers from other states can fill the gap. You can be a farmer or you can be a goon, but you can’t be both.

Bowing down to hooligans and blackmailers can't change their hearts. It gives them a sense of invincibility and encourages to do more. The govt did not bow down to the nuisance of Amritpal Singh; instead, it handled him upfront, and that's why issue is sorted. On the other hand, they tolerated rioting on Republic Day in 2021, allowed blocking and damage to national assets for months, endured abuses, separatism calls, threats, mocking, and yielded. They reversed a decision benefiting 100% of farmers for the less than 1% protesting. How did it turn out? It was called a masterstroke back then. Some even said BJP would now form the govt in Punjab. However, it only secured 2 out of 117 seats. And today they are again facing the similar situation. Protests are fine. But, anyone damaging national assets, disrupting the lives of fellow citizens and businesses, attacking law enforcement, and promoting separatist sentiments should not be tolerated. Tolerance empowers them.

Don't feed the ego of the low IQ faux machismo laden farmer. Their entire pitch is "see how we take the state on." For once, show them what the state can do and see how they will run away. Unfortunately, this lot only understands force. I know the state will always avoid this option but understand cultural nuances. Faux machismo is a thing of this lot. It doesn't get broken until some muscle flexing is done. Otherwise, get ready for another agonizing two month period in Delhi.
