X has removed millions of bots, but they come back faster and smarter. Why? The internet still can’t prove there’s a real human behind an account. Here's what @X could look like with human verification powered by @VeryAI

Every check in today's financial stack was designed around a human. Signatures, IDs, clicks, chargebacks. When an AI agent is the one transacting, each of those checks has a gap. Here's how we solve it 👇

the agentic economy doesn't have a big visible safety crisis yet because it hasn't scaled yet. give it time clawcredit got hit last month. 130 fake agent identities, fabricated behavioral data, $430 drained in 48 hours before the risk engine caught on. and yea, $430 is probably nothing, but the attack itself was a working demonstration of something the industry hasn't fully reckoned with yet, Agentic Fraud. It's autonomous, adaptive, faster than any human operated scheme, and specifically engineered to fool the exact systems built to catch it. that was one product, one team, relatively small scale. the same logic applied across millions of agents transacting daily with no real verification layer underneath any of it will be a genuinely different problem. and external attacks are honestly the easier half. unverified agent identity, agents acting outside what the human actually authorized, no auditable trail when disputes happen. in any economy running on autonomous agents at real scale these stop being just edge cases pretty quickly. @t54ai is the infrastructure answer to all of it. not efficiency tooling. the actual verification, risk, and accountability layer the agentic economy needs before it gets too big to fix retroactively every industry that moved fast and broke things eventually had to go back and build the safety layer. usually after something went badly wrong at scale. would be very bullish to see if this one does it the other way around. ⛓️‍💥 t54.ai

AI agents will be transacting billions on behalf of people, businesses, and each other. Behind the scenes, identity (KYA), risk assessment, and accountability are what will hold it all together.

People won't let AI agents move real money until they know it's protected by the same safeguards every other part of finance runs on. We're building the trust layer that makes widespread adoption of the agentic economy possible.

For the past few months, I've been working with researchers from Google DeepMind, Microsoft AI Research, Columbia University, and Virtuals on a paper proposing the Agentic Risk Standard. Today, it has been officially published: t54.ai/ars Here's why it's the missing piece for a trustworthy agentic economy ↓

😀Excited to share our new paper: Quantifying Trust: Financial Risk Management for Trustworthy AI Agents. arxiv.org/pdf/2604.03976 featured in @FortuneMagazine: fortune.com/2026/04/08/age… Together with @Chi_Wang_, @tianyi_peng , @virtuals_io, and @t54ai, we propose the Agentic Risk Standard (ARS), a settlement-layer protocol that uses escrow, underwriting, and collateral to provide enforceable guarantees for transactions involving AI agents I’ve been working on agent infra since 2024, and most current works on agent infra are about Docker environments or efficiency. But is that all we need for infra for AI agents? Agents are already participating in real economic activity: providing services, making purchases, moving money. That means agent infra is not just technical, it’s also financial. Right now, using agents is basically “risk-on by default”: If things go well → everyone benefits If things go wrong → the user eats the loss That asymmetry is the real problem. 👀👀So I started thinking: what would finance for AI agents look like? We propose 👉Agentic Risk Standard (ARS)👈: 1⃣ Quantify agent risk 2⃣ Introduce escrow, premiums, collateral, underwriting, claims 3⃣ Shift from “try it and see” → “clear accountability and compensation” ⛑️Trustworthy AI shouldn’t stop at “models are reliable enough” But rather, it should answer: Who pays when things fail? How much? Under what rules? ARS moves us from model-level reliability to product-level accountability, from implicit trust to enforceable guarantees. ARS is not AI safety (which tries to make models behave) and not fintech with an AI skin (which keeps the human as the backstop). It's a risk layer: escrow holds payment, underwriting prices risk, collateral keeps agents accountable when things break. 🤗 The Agentic Risk Standard is an open-source initiative. We invite researchers, developers, and risk managers to contribute to the protocol and expand the agentic economy. paper: arxiv.org/pdf/2604.03976 github: github.com/t54-labs/Agent… website: t54.ai/ars
