🚨 OFFICIAL: Fede Valverde statement. “Yesterday I had an incident with a teammate during a training session. The fatigue from competition and the frustration made everything seem blown out of proportion”. “In a normal locker room, these things can happen and are usually resolved internally without it becoming all public”. “Clearly, someone here is spreading rumors, and with a season without titles, where Real Madrid is always under scrutiny, everything gets blown out of proportion”. “Today we had another disagreement. During the argument, I accidentally hit a table, causing a small cut on my forehead that required a routine visit to the hospital”. “At no point did my teammate hit me, I didn’t hit him either”. “I feel that my anger about the situation, frustration at seeing some of us struggling to get through end of season, giving it our all, pushed me to the point of arguing with a teammate”. “I’m sorry. I’m truly sorry because this situation hurts me, this moment we’re going through is painful”. “Real Madrid is one of the most important things in my life and I can’t be indifferent to it. The result is accumulation of things that culminate in a senseless fight, damaging my image and leaving room for doubt that they will add fuel to the fire of an accident”. “I wasn’t going to speak out until the end of the season. We were eliminated from the Champions League, and I kept my anger and resentment to myself”. “We’ve wasted another year, and I wasn’t in a position to be posting on social media when the only face I had to show was on the field, and I feel that’s what I did. That’s why I’m the one who’s most saddened and pained to be going through this situation that prevents me from playing the next match due to medical decisions”. “I always gave it my all, to the very end, and it hurts me more than anyone not to be able to do so. I am available to the club and my teammates to collaborate on any decision they deem necessary. Thank you”.

Alonso hive we won. Nobody serious made any inference on Xabi’s coaching ability or personality with this bunch of divas. Xabi was the consummate gentleman who was loved by the dressing rooms of 3 massive clubs so he was pretty obviously never going to be the one at fault.

Rooney is such a good pundit
Troll Touchline@TrollTouchline

🚨🗣️ | Wayne Rooney on the Media Hypocrisy Regarding Arsenal: “I’ve been seeing the reaction to the Bayern and PSG game, and honestly, it’s a joke. Everyone was hyping this up as the 'ultimate' game of the week, the most entertaining game of the round. It ends 1-1 and I’m seeing nothing. Where’s that same energy people have for Arsenal? When Arsenal grind out a 1-0 win or a 1-1 draw the media calls it 'boring' or 'negative football.' But look at Bayern tonight I didn’t see a team that wanted to win. I saw a Bayern side that looked like they expected PSG to just sit back and defend, but got disappointed. They played with zero energy, their body language was completely lackluster, and they looked lost. If Mikel Arteta’s side put in a performance like that, every pundit in the country would be slating them for the next week. People need to start being honest. You look at Arsenal versus Atlético yesterday that was a proper Champions League semi-final. It had everything: intensity, quality, drama. It was the most entertaining match of the week by a mile. But because it's Arsenal, the goalposts always move. Now that the media’s favorites, PSG and Bayern, have put on a 1-1 aggregate snoozefest, is anyone calling it 'haram football'? Of course not. We all know the answer to that. It’s pure hypocrisy. Deep down, everyone knows this Arsenal team is one of the best in Europe right now. The only reason people pretend to hate the way they play is because their own teams aren't half as good as them. It’s time we start judging football on fairness and logic, not just because it’s popular to have a go at Arsenal”

Mikel Arteta has brought Arsenal to a Champions League final. With a performance that symbolises how he transformed the club. They were physically, technically, and psychologically inept when he took over. In every sense. The fans had no hope. Now? Arsenal embody the opposite of that. They compete for every duel like their lives depend on it. They have physical monsters all over the pitch. They are the best set piece team in the land. Their fans celebrate a successful high press like a goal. All whilst dominating games with technical and tactical superiority. From doubters to believers. On and off the pitch. We've been here since 2019, guys. Predicting it and watching it unfold in real time. 'Trust the process' was no gimmick. It was steeped in reality. Despite all of the noise. Despite the mass criticism. The doubts. From inside and outside of Arsenal. But here we are, guys. Here. We. Are.

Arteta has built a worldwide pool of interest invested in his success. Everyone is rooting for Arsenal, for the triumph of the project, for the glory of the everyday fan, for the story that could be told through this man who persisted and persisted until the walls broke down and the stars came falling with it. It is time for a new story. It is time for a new success. It is time for a change. Young people at work, at your businesses, chasing projects, chasing commitments, settling down, building new communities, finding new connections—this one is for you. This Arsenal is for you.

Ancelotti's decision to use Jude as a 10 even tho he was signed as an 8 if great profiling. His decision to continuously use Kroos deeper from AM to CM to playmaking DM is also genius. He did the same with Pirlo at AC Milan. But hey, he is all about vibes and not tactics 👍
Rajdeep@Rajdeep_C_18

Ancelotti’s decision to use Di Maria as an LCM (mezzala) remains one of the best player profiling's of recent history.

A win for Mikel Arteta is a win for humanity. A young, brave, yet insecure & stubborn man told the world what he’d achieve, and went on to do exactly that. If you cannot see yourself in him, both the pros & cons, you are not aiming high enough in life, Humanity’s finest.
