Lula is not a “good guy.” Saying you like him is a slap in the face to every Brazilian patriot. This is a man convicted in multiple courts for corruption and money laundering, released only so he could run for office again, never declared innocent. And then there’s another one, a man who once strutted through the halls of power in Brazil, known nationwide as the King of Bribes: Joesley Batista, a criminal businessman who admitted everything in a plea bargain and believes he can buy anyone he wants. Watching my President surrounded by political sharks and professional liars and manipulators is nauseating. Meanwhile Bolsonaro, your loyal ally, the one who stood with you when the world turned its back, now sits in a prison cell, his health fragile, his strength tested, relying on the “mercy” of a sanctioned judge just to receive visits from his own family. His crime? Confronting the system. I stand with America First, but our integrity, our loyalty, and our values are not bargaining chips.
