@F_zimballi @avfcthreads January was a disaster. Signing Luiz and Abraham, letting Malen go and bringing back Bailey.

If you want to know how bad our recruitment has been these past years it’s fun to remember: In January we spent £10 Million on a 16 year old who is unable to be registered to play English football, even in our U21 squad (through no fault of his own) until he is 18

@GuillemBalague I will be honest: this tweet is more revealing than you probably intended it to be. You’ve milked the fans for their money and now you’re in full-tilt PR mode to the detriment of hard-working fans rightly frustrated at a gutless performance. There’s a common theme emerging…

On #AVFC The great strategists see beyond the next battle Unai has prioritisised Thursday (2-3 points could be enough for top 5) I will be honest: I thought fans were going to sing about Europe at the end but half of the stadium left before the five minutes of injury time Hopefully, everything will make sense at this time on Thursday

Richard Payne@richardpayne94

@terrychristian They are not ‘subsidised’, you moron. This is a new tax, on the parents, not the education. Yup, let’s all aim low………ffs. The politics of envy, grievance and lowest common denominator is exactly why this country is in the 💩.

Many lefties are shouting at me, that it is the law that my son has a school place. Yes it is! And the Local Authority is in breech of their legal obligations. Labour's SEND reform attempts to strip away these legal obligations brought in 2014, by the Tories.

Yes there’s a free breakfast, but also there’s free childcare so parents can get to work, and it staggers the arrival of the school day helping to discipate annoying school parking chaos. These people willingly misrepresent policies that help everyone to make them sound silly.
Julia Hartley-Brewer@JuliaHB1

The breakfasts are not free. They are paid for by taxes - mostly on parents who feed their own kids. Most of these 10,000 children would have had a perfectly healthy breakfast at home without these clubs. This isn't about helping the poorest kids, it's the state taking over the basic job of parenting.

I literally COULD NOT BELIEVE what I was hearing as I sat in a debate in Parliament yesterday. What was it on? SEND. What did I hear? Well… I thought it was recognised cross-party that something radical has to change when it comes to SEND support in schools? But the right-wing lot showed exactly how much they care. For starters, Reform didn’t even bother to show up. Are you even surprised at this point with those part-timers? No apologies for their outrageous words in the past on SEND children. Tice has previously said conditions like ADHD are overdiagnosed. Councillors making even more outrageous remarks. And Tice himself even calling the sight of children wearing ear defenders in classrooms “insane”. These are children. Honestly, how cruel do you have to be? Most jawdroppingly of all, yesterday, some Tories turned up to DEFEND parts of the current system. Yep, you read that correctly. Their government created an adversarial and underfunded system that failed children. They simply shrugged their shoulders when it came to helping mainstream schools do more. Labour? We're fixing the system for good. With children at the heart of everything we’re doing. More funding. Earlier support. Specialist staff. Inclusive, mainstream schools. I just don’t get why right-wingers don’t seem to care about SEND. Or even worse, want to be so cruel about it? Can anyone explain?

Some children go back to school on Monday. Not the children of St Lawrence’s College. The Govts plethora of tax rises made the school unviable. 500 kids are school less. And some people are PLEASED! I know. What f*****s would celebrate a child’s education being disrupted? 1/3

Gareth Davies@GarethDavies007

There’s been a lot of talk about how Labour ministers aren’t qualified and have little experience relevant to the position in cabinet they hold So let’s look at one such example Bridget Phillipson She was born on 19 December 1983 in Gateshead 1/5
