@maplepreneur @0x_kaize @xai What about Grok in the last 2 years makes you think that they are going to suddenly beat Anthropic or OpenAI?
What about the Cursor harness makes you think that this is possible?
I bet you own or want a Cybertruck

CURSOR AND COPILOT ARE ABOUT TO DIE
developer spent 3 months testing Claude Code, Codex and Cursor in parallel, the result?
he exhausted the Cursor usage quota in a couple of weeks. then you sit and wait or pay extra while Claude Code and Codex reset the limits weekly. for the same price
and here's the question that no one wants to ask out loud:
why are you still paying for cursor or copilot when Claude Code and Codex give you the same amount or even more?
this isn't just about pricing. this is a survival question for entire companies
think about it:
- Cursor, Copilot, and Windsurf all resell other people's models with a wrapper
- Anthropic and OpenAI sell THEIR OWN models directly
- and do it cheaper
It's like trying to compete with a factory by buying parts from the same factory
what should actually scare these companies:
- Claude Code runs straight from the terminal, no IDE needed
- Codex from OpenAI - same thing
- both reset limits more often
- both evolve faster
the developer literally asks: 'is there even room for another coding agent in this market?'
and the honest answer is - probably not
we are witnessing a classic scenario: platforms devour their intermediaries
Claude Code did the same thing without subscribing to a separate editor
I'm not saying that Сursor will die tomorrow. but if your business model is to resell someone else's API at a premium, you should be nervous
the question is not 'Cursor vs Claude Code', but:
how many months do wrapper companies have left before model providers take over the entire market?

Canada would have a much higher standard of living if they had only 30 million people instead of 42 million people.
Literally nothing was gained by allowing 10 million people from the 3rd world to migrate to Canada over the past 30 years.
Every economic metric has trended worse for Canada, especially over the past 10 years.

@wealthmoose Don’t we still have housing shortages? Condos and houses have been severely over valued and a massive shortage for years, this is just the peak society could pay for things is my guess.
Many families I know are mortgage poor. 😞

🇨🇦 #BREAKING:
Toronto condo sales have plunged to levels not seen since 1991. 🇨🇦
With "no new project launches" and inventory swelling, the market is at a 35-year standstill.
Per CTV/Urbanation, the floor has officially dropped out.
The era of the $1M shoebox might be over. 🏠

@6ixbuzztv unless lightning or stable coins take off for transactions i think this is likely true. Just buy your bitcoin with @shakepay and call it a day.

@thatstraw Understand the take, used to love arch but using @ZorinOS is just sane defaults and batteries included. 10/10 for me, as a developer and entrepreneur I just need stuff to work, Zorin does that.

Bought @brave origin, happy to pay and support Brave, a great browser! But 1pass not working with it makes it unusable for me right now. Even with setting the custom browsers file on linux it's not working ☹️

English

I should've included this in my video, but you can configure Brave via policies:

How to make Brave minimal is out! youtu.be/7r5SxgwqIG0

we're at 50,000 subscribers
still $10/month
higher limits than ever
Stefan@StefanTMD
Opencode Go did 180B tokens in a single day

Brutal move. I understand it financially but you can’t beat Cursor, Codex or Claude Code down this path.
I’m canceling my annual subscription but I wis the team the most success. The team behind copilot is awesome!
GitHub@github
Starting June 1st, GitHub Copilot will move to a usage-based billing model as GitHub Copilot supports more agentic and advanced workflows. In early May, you'll see a preview bill experience, giving visibility into projected costs before the transition. 👉 Read more about the upcoming change: github.blog/news-insights/…

Excited to use @brave origin but @1Password doesn’t seem to work on Linux even with specifying it in the custom browser file 😞
