The thing is Josh, if you're as much a part of the advocacy movement as you are, and you don't understand that victims need advocacy whether they were in church or not, I wonder if you understand the movement you've joined yourself to at all. I knew that was true for Ron Cantor, but I don't watch you, so I wasn't aware of that in your case. You don't seem angry or spiteful like Ron does, so I'm guessing this is just about theology for you. That's theoretically fine, but the foundations and goals of the theology world and the advocacy world are fundamentally incompatible. You will face a moment when you have to pick a side and I hope when that time comes that you are able to see clearly. Also, if that's true about you, you are being used as a tool by the activists. I don't mean that as an insult and like I said, I don't watch you, so pardon me if I'm wrong about you. I'm not wrong about the movement though.

Why aren’t @reachjulieroys @RonSCantor @ReachRoysReport @LauraLynnTT @blaiseforet @Torncurtainorg etc, talking about the 250,000 SA victims in England? I know, I know, it’s not their niche of activism. It’s a big enough deal and close enough that they could probably make an exception and branch out a little in my opinion. The legacy media is not covering it. They want to be a voice for victims, here’s a massive opportunity to do that.
Or just maybe it was never really about victims.

She’s on a mission, & she’s clearly not going away. The “little Lamb” is the victim, & that’s the lane she’s chosen to stay in.

I didn’t deconstruct in my 20s because I stopped believing in God, I deconstructed because I got hurt and I stopped believing that God cared about me. I called myself a Christian agnostic. I believe in God, I just believe he wasn’t involved with our lives on a personal level. My healing didn’t come from getting all my theology straightened out, it came from realizing how deeply God cares about me. I had missed that before because I’d expected God to meet with me on my terms. I wanted Him to prove Himself to me. The crazy thing is, God often meets with people in that state because that’s how generous He is, but it can’t last that way because we never grow. When I finally got desperate enough to meet with God on His terms, everything changed. There were five things I had sworn I would never do, He asked me to do all five. On the outside I looked like a huge failure, but the sweet presence of the Lord began to fill my soul in ways I have a hard time putting into words. I once believed that God was far away, now I know that He’s closer than my own body. When people look to outward things for the evidence of God, they often miss Him. God doesn’t always solve our outward problems, but He offers life on the inside that transcends those problems. It’s that living water He offered to the woman at the well. It’s that life that flows from the vine to the branches. A lot of Christian culture teaches us to obey God because He’s the most powerful, and He is, so that’s fine, but it’s far better to obey him because we know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that He’s right that we were created to thrive in His righteousness.

@marika2me @DeptOfChurch @LauraLynnTT I don’t care if they go away or not. What I stated is that public perception matters. And the general public thinks very low of Daystar & Rachel Lamb because of this account, the minions, and how Jonathan & Suzy were blatantly treated at Joni’s memorial.
