Yesterday I merged a huge PR moving all my course sites off Express.js over to hono.
Four about a year, I’ve been coding new backend features with standard web request/response and asyncLocalStorage. Templating with JSX.
Once I had enough examples, I had Claude go through hundreds of routes and pug templates and convert them all.

@PaulRBerg it'd be nice if the "paste without formatting" shortcut worked

Announcing skillgrade - the easiest way to evaluate your agent skills
All you need is two commands:
skillgrade init # create evals
skillgrade # run them
By default evals run in a safe sandboxed docker container

Chrome just became massively more agent-friendly 🔥 Your real, signed-in browser can now be natively accessible to any coding agent.
No extensions.
No headless browser.
No screenshots.
No separate logins.
Just one toggle to enable it.

@mgechev careful, arxiv.org/pdf/2602.12670 suggests human-curated skills perform the best compared to purely agent-generated skills

You can use agents to create skills for them!
I just added a "skill for creating skills" to the best practices repo. It's essentially a meta-skill that ensures every capability you build is good quality and context-optimized.
Check it out and star the repo: github.com/mgechev/skills… 🚀

2026 is the first year I've abandonded Angular as a first-choice framework for new projects. It's been my go-to since 2016, but the Agents prefer other frameworks, and since I'm not reading the code anyway, I'd rather go with a simpler choice (Svelte, atm) 💔

Angular has a new landing page at angular.dev! I love how it shows some of Angular's unique features such as: ‣ Incremental hydration ‣ Deferrable views ‣ Flavor of signals ‣ Investment in AI and codegen

@Nartc1410 if Angular as a framework wants to remain relevant, AI interactions have to be priority #1
where once we all identified as Angular developers, now we're Agentic engineers, and we don't read code or care what frameworks are used, only that they're easily written by AI

No way AI experience is more important then DX. Am I really missing something? 🥹
