So I guess I built a browser in to my terminal?

So excited to be using @pestphp's browser testing in Craft Pest now! Makes testing JS functionality so easy. And with factories creating the world to test we get pretty reliable screenshot regression testing too!

@Khaliqgant A Cloudflare worker (JS) serving HTML that’s leaking memory and crashing randomly. Makes me miss the “fresh start” of PHP processes. But man the speed of not having to bootstrap the entire app on every request?! Phew, trade offs!

Every time I have to work in a stateful back-end I'm reminded how much "easier" stateless is. There's a whole class of memory bugs you just don't have to worry about when the request and its entire memory heap is thrown out at the end of the request.

@thdxr @kcosr Gosh I love this. Will we be able to point the UI at a remote server? I run some dev servers that I’d love to be able to point a UI too instead of moshing in and connecting to tmux.

@kcosr yeah it already does - it's really just a webapp that can connect to an opencode instance running anywhere the "desktop" part just bundles the two together nicely for normies

@tylermilliken_ As a Phillies phan watching the top of the lineup (including Schwarber) go hitless most of the NLDS: I don’t want him back in Boston. Too streaky for an already streaky BOS lineup.

@middlebrooks @WillFlemming Nothing better than “the Wills” calling a game. Muted ESPN all series so I could listen to you two.

I’m so grateful to have a job that I look forward to doing and teammates that make it feel like it’s not a job at all. Thank you to everyone at NESN, WEEI, the Red Sox, and most importantly all of you who tune in for 162+. @WillFlemming, should we run it back in 2026?
Will Flemming@WillFlemming

Crazy how quickly a baseball season ends. I had the time of my life this summer, and I want to thank everyone for listening. Glad we found the star that is @middlebrooks - he made me laugh every day & he made me much better on the air. I’m already counting the days until Ft Myers

@adamwathan Locally, not a whole lot. I think remote MCPs are a difference maker. Being able to connect to google.com/mcp without needing to run anything locally means you can tie it in to process restricted systems like watches and phones without on-device security risks.

What's the actual difference between an MCP server and a regular old CLI program with a `--help` flag? Feels to me like a CLI program written with agents in mind solves the same problems without inventing anything new?

@jackmcdade Or, just get rid of it and clicking a collection selects the list view of the first collection.

@jackmcdade A more "Editorial" interface would be awesome. Show total entry counts and quick links in to the listing view that conveys something like [3 upcoming entries](/link). Also, a quick summary under each collection, the five most recent entries, the five last edited entries.

I think the most underutilized screen of the Statamic control panel is the collection index. A list that shows the name of each collection and the count is pretty basic. Anyone have ideas on what we could do to make this screen something you’d use more often?

@markhuot @adamwathan You can have it both ways. In @base_ui Menu we made it so that it opens on mousedown, but releasing outside the Triggers closes it, and releasing inside the Trigger leaves it open.

Was frustrated by what we thought was a performance issue in Headless UI this week where opening dropdowns felt so slow compared to other libraries. Turns out everyone else was opening on mousedown and we were opening on click 🙈 Huge perceived difference!

@laracasts Passing the request down feels like a code smell. I’ve fixed so many bugs because some deeply nested service expects a request but is running in a queue. At the very least validate the request and pass down the validated array.
