On this date in 1973, Theatre of Blood made its debut. This is one of Vincent Price's best films - and roles. He plays a deranged actor, Edward Lionheart, who is so upset by critics that he attempts suicide, but is rescued by some off-kilter vagrants. A great horror/comedy.

On this date in 2006, Slither made its debut. A box office failure, it has won favor for its mix of horror & humor, depicting a small town overrun by alien parasites. Nathan Filion & Elizabeth Banks are good as the leads, while Gregg Henry is very funny as the town mayor.

@shegone03 @MLB @BlueJays This is such a bad look for the major leagues. Teams have eight-man bullpens, but can't get through a nine-inning game without using a position player? How about carrying an actual long reliever who can pitch four or five innings at a clip?

It only took 4 games for the first position player to pitch in a @MLB game in 2026! Keep in mind that the @BlueJays had four off days between their last Spring Training game and their 1st regular season game last Friday and they let a position player pitch 2 innings. But wait…the @Phillies also used a position player in their blowout loss to the @Nationals The Phillies have only played 4 games in the last 7 days! On this date in 1946, House of Horrors made its debut. Rondo Hatton stars as The Creeper, a serial killer rescued from drowning by a deranged sculptor. Sadly, Hatton died from a heart attack 7 weeks before the film debut. He is still remembered today through the Rondo Awards.
