@RubinWeston @Paul2626cfc West Ham is a good example of poor running of the club for a long time, similar to Spurs. But there’s also a lot of Man City supporters who, in spite of their success, still feel it’s come at the cost of losing their club identity & soul.

Clearlake have destroyed Chelsea Football Club. And it’s much more than on field performance. They ripped the soul out of the Club and replaced it with shallow corporate emptiness. The Regulator has to intervene to save other Clubs. Private Equity has no place in football.

Middlesbrough being knocked out the playoffs twice in less than a fortnight. Brutal. God ain’t ready to forgive them for 1988 yet.

In 3 seasons of the 22 Abramovich owned @ChelseaFC we failed to win a trophy (& in 1 of those reached the UCL Final). Now in 3 of the 4 years of current ownership we've won nothing. Today we played not to be crushed. Embarrassing!!

JK’s Fanbite of the undeserved 1-0 loss to City at Wembley. But just as he was about to discuss how dire the season has been, the news comes on the airwaves that XAlonso is to be the new manager. Have BlueCo got something right at last? @chelseafanbite @Jonathankydd @chelseafc

@JTChelseaFan01 “You don’t see any achievement” in the team reaching an FA Cup final. Therein lies your problem & subsequent sense of entitlement. I feel sorry for you as you really don’t seem to enjoy supporting the team even when they’ve reached a final.

@markwillett7 With all due respect, our run to the final was one of the easiest we are ever going to get so I don’t see the achievement there. And the protest wouldn’t detract from the team anyway. It was before the game and with big media presence was a chance to highlight fans discontent

The entitlement here is astonishing imo!
Super Frank@JTChelseaFan01

@CFCDaily Wonder if those fans saying a protest shouldn’t happen today enjoyed their day out watching us lose. Going into a final with an interim manager that doesn’t even have full coaching badges should be enough reason alone to stand up to this ownership regardless

@bluedaze65 @JTChelseaFan01 Also worth remembering that the board Roman put in place held legacy supporters in very low regard & they were completely disconnected from supporter culture & club history. Because we were winning trophies most supporters didn’t mind.

@JTChelseaFan01 @markwillett7 Roman was unique. The comparisons are pointless. These owners have invested a substantial amount of money to provide a return on that money. They’ve just not been very good at it. Every club has lean spells. We’re going through one now. But stupid to think they don’t want success

@JTChelseaFan01 @bluedaze65 The points you make about the current ownership of the club hold some weight but for me, I’ve watched the team play at SB & away for 42 years (st holder). My support of the team is never linked to whether I approve of the ownership. They’re separate issues.

@bluedaze65 @markwillett7 I’m not even using Roman as a comparison. My point being there was a solid foundation there for them to build upon. Instead they’ve gone in with a ‘we know best’ attitude and ripped up the foundation for something far worse. Every club doesn’t spend £2 billion for a lean spell…

@stevokps Yep, probably need another team of decision makers to check the VAR operators are interpreting the VAR properly.

I thought football supporters hated VAR. Funny how almost everyone around me today kept calling for it?

@bluedaze65 @markwillett7 I think this ownerships vision of success is completely different to how a fan would view success. And that is shown in how they’ve completely ripped up everything Roman had built to replace it with their own mediocrity

@JTChelseaFan01 The team we support got to the FA Cup Final. That is a big achievement by the team we support. The money spent on the FA Cup Final tickets is the FAs -We don’t have any gripes with them. Wrong time, wrong place for a protest. Today should just have been about the team-no one else

@markwillett7 Entitlement? Just for saying a protest BEFORE a game was a good idea when others were saying ‘just enjoy the day out’? Fans have spent a lot of money to be there while this ownership takes advantage of them and continues to make a mockery of our club

It’s official, it’s a terrible season for Chelsea, the club world champions. No trophies, ninth in the table, danger of not qualifying for any European competition, players speaking out, fans protesting, managerial churn, inexperienced caretaker. Some of the players are culpable, not given enough, not taken responsibility when needed. But this is largely down to the owners, to their flawed approach to recruitment, to their lack of connection to the fanbase, to their astonishing naivety. Chelsea fans deserve better. They deserve more leaders on the field and any leader in the boardroom. They deserve more expertise in the recruitment department. Owners need a rethink. Club needs a reset. #CFC #FACupfinal #CHEMCI

@Gemma_Manns It’s the sense of entitlement here that I find most astonishing. If you support a football team-you support a football team. It seems from this that nowadays you have to support the club owners in order to support the team. Absolute nonsense!

Any CFC ‘fan’ wanting 2 lose an FA Cup final over concerns & agendas against the owners is genuinely BS Criticise the project all u want (rightly so), but the second u want the club 2 fail just to say “I told you so” is pathetic No proper Chels wants Chelsea losing finals. Ever

I’m thrilled to share that our film, ‘Borley Rectory: The Awakening,’ has been nominated for Best Thriller at the National Film Awards UK! This is a massive milestone for an independent, micro-budget project like ours. VOTING LINK: nationalfilmawards.co.uk/voting

To all you ridiculous “influencers” and “YouTubers” who have criticised the CST on this today I suggest take a long hard look at yourselves. We’re all angry at the club’s owners but below is how you deal with it, not infantile reactionary noise that actually divides supporters.
