Pacific Legal Foundation is taking this Alameda County eviction ban to the 9th Circuit. This could end up at the Supreme Court. Stay healthy, Clarence! The Northern District of CA said a *three-year* eviction ban wasn't a taking because it's of "limited duration," (eyeroll), and the owners could sue the (always judgment proof) defendants for a (worthless) back rent judgment in civil court (while they terrorized the owners for years and trashed the place).

LAWSUIT: Alameda County's eviction moratorium let tenants trash homes, stay without paying rent, and terrorize property owners. PLF is fighting for California homeowners trapped in living nightmares by their own government.

These “departments” are supposed to be staffed and overseen by Gov. Newsom. But they’re not. This is scandalous and outrageous.

BREAKING. A Contra Costa Superior Court judge found that the ballot summary for the June 2026 Measure B tax hike violated California election law by being argumentative and/or prejudicial. As a remedy, he ordered a series of changes to the ballot language.
