I just stopped by the “No Kings” rally and noticed it’s dramatically smaller than past ones.
They flew out Bruce Springsteen and Bernie Sanders for this flagship event.
The weather is great. The energy just isn’t what it used to be for Democrats.
If this is true (and I think it obviously isn’t) I do wonder how to explain that Trump in literally thousands of speeches and interviews has never shown the depth of knowledge and felicity with facts RFK speaks of here. Is he just nervous?
@SpiceyBits@GrageDustin Barging into homes without warrants, having quotas resulting in large sweeps ("arrest first ask questions later), racial profiling officially encouraged, arresting citizens who aren't released for days or weeks,etc.etc.
What if instead of weekend marches (avoiding any meaningful disruption) that don't do anything but make participants feel good about themselves, everyone agreed to a general strike? Even a one-day strike would make a stronger statement than 'clever' signs and choreographed dances
Before you feel an ounce of sympathy for this fat lard of shit just know that if she was in shape she’d be the most entitled shitty human being imaginable just like the average woman. The only thing that partially humbles her is being a fat sub human. It gives me joy watching her break down and suffer
No f*cking way! 🤬
House proposal aims to allow Trump a 3rd term through constitutional change 🏛️⚖️
In a move gaining attention, a proposal has been introduced in the U.S. House to amend the Constitution and potentially allow a president to serve more than two terms. The idea focuses on revisiting the 22nd Amendment, which currently limits presidents to two elected terms.
Representative Andy Ogles introduced H.J.Res. 29, suggesting a change that could allow up to three elected terms. Supporters say it opens debate about voter choice, while critics argue it challenges long-standing limits designed to prevent extended presidential power.
The proposal is still at an early stage and would require significant support to move forward, including approval by Congress and ratification by states. Analysts note that constitutional amendments are rare and require broad political agreement.

To everyone dismissing today’s No Kings rallies:
Symbolism is not weakness. Symbolism is how movements announce themselves to history.
Not everyone can file a lawsuit. Not everyone can run for office. Not everyone can break a story or fund a campaign.
But two hours in the street says something that cannot be ignored:
We are here. We are counting. We are watching.
Philadelphia filled. Atlanta marched. DC is building now.
This is not the beginning of the resistance.
This is the resistance announcing its size.
Trump dismissed the Women’s March.
Trump dismissed the George Floyd protests.
Trump dismissed every crowd that showed up before.
Like retweet and comment so this message goes far and wide!
Greenville South Carolina, allowed the rally to take place on our downtown Main Street, which is a tourist as well very active nightlife area with shops, restaurants etc. Main Street is a two lane street, so no one could drive more than 3-5 MPH. Every retail business in the area was affected. The attendees used bullhorns, shouting out their political messages, degrading our President, wishing him ill will, etc. Families with small children, pets, out of towners, were forced to hear all of this as they tried to enter stores and restaurants. Law enforcement on overtime were everywhere to ensure nothing went array ie. babysitting. They could have had this rally at a more appropriate location, but for some reason the City of Greenville, decided this was the best place for this rally, thereby ruining the entire day for the rest of us. Curious they didn't care enough to think about that.
I am feeling incredibly exhausted this week. I’m just wooped. I sleep well for 7 hours. Then about 12 noon I feel like I need a nap. I have checked my blood sugar multiple times and it’s always normal. I felt like I could not push through it today. So I am just hanging out on the bed this afternoon reading to my granddaughter. This is absolutely not normal for me and this has been going on for about 2 weeks, but the last 3 days have been worse. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this just me? Anyone else just feeling physically exhausted?😩
The “No Kings” Delusion.
The slogan itself is the best joke of all. They claim to be fighting against a “King,” yet they spend their entire lives begging for a larger, more intrusive government to manage every aspect of their existence—from what they can say to what they can heat their homes with.
They are terrified of a “King” while being completely obedient to the bureaucratic cathedral that actually runs their lives.

Already a MASSIVE crowd gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol and there’s still *more than an hour* until today’s No Kings rally gets officially underway here in St. Paul.
LFG!
President Trump: "Did I hear Minnesota? How is Minnesota doing? What's going on in Minnesota with that crazy governor? That crooked, corrupt governor? How about the attorney general, you think he's a dirty cop? We'll get Minnesota back. We'll take it back from Somalia."
