@carmorg All of Christianity teaches that God knew the Fall was going to happen, but Mormonism alone teaches it was part of His Plan, which is why Christ was the Lamb slain "from the foundation of the world" God took the Fall into account before even creating Adam and Eve.

@nic_lucc Is only meat implied, or is it all food...until an implied hour of the day (i.e., sundown)? I think you have to look at the Elizabethan statutes to find implicit abstinence from meat.

Prayerbook folks: do you abstain from meat for the 40 days of lent (and also Fridays throughout the year) as it seems to imply as neccesary in the rubrics?
