The abominable treatment of civilians aboard the flotilla, including that which is documented in footage shared by Itamar Ben-Gvir, is unacceptable.
Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs has directed officials to summon the Israeli ambassador to demand assurances regarding the safety and security of Canadians involved.
Canada has already imposed strict sanctions on Mr. Ben-Gvir, including asset freezes and a travel ban, in response to his repeated incitement of violence. The protection of civilians and respect for human dignity must be upheld everywhere, at all times.

Pirzada sahib calls Dr. Araghchi "super intelligent" but "hampered by a Mullah-dominated political system" simply because he politely and appropriately declined to shake hands with a woman at the recent BRICS summit in India, refusing to conform to Western social norms.
In Islam, there is a clear concept of 'mahram' and 'na-mahram'. Dr. Araghchi, as a practicing Muslim, chose to adhere to his religious principles. That is not a sign of being "hampered." It is a matter of faith and personal conviction.
Pirzada sahib is free to please his "liberal" Western friends however he wishes. But he should extend the same courtesy to others who choose to do things differently. Period.
