There are times I debate selling these off. Mk2 with jamma switch so it can swap to mk1. Neogeo with a quality multi cart. DDR running a minimaid using StepMania. The simpsons 4 player (has TMNT in it too). As a kid this was a dream. It eats up too much space but I love it.

@qwertymodo @redherring32 Could it be that its only painted on when grounding to a heat sink to prevent loosening from repetitive expansion and contraction.

@redherring32 No, it's a hardened glue of some kind. Seems to be anti-vibration, but they don't want to use threadlock because that would compromise the grounding connection, so they glob it on the head post-assembly instead.

Follow up to my black glue question the other day, anybody have a source for this green stuff I see sometimes applied to grounding screws? All I can find online are articles on "why do they paint grounding screws green" or why you should never put threadlocker on ground screws.
