Pewbeam is live 🎉
This was just a dream, a dream I didn’t even know was possible—but I decided to pursue it anyway. Today, that dream is now a reality. We have a desktop app (Windows and macOS—this weekend) that can do all of this and even more. Over the last six months, I’ve pushed myself and my team hard, and I’ve seen people become hopeful and genuinely blessed by this product. I’ve received strong support from pastors, church members, techies, and several media houses and reporters. It has been a great honor to spend myself on something worthwhile.
We’ve built an AI-native presentation app that displays relevant scriptures on screen in under 80 ms, without needing a volunteer. We’re starting with scriptures, but we’re growing into a comprehensive presentation software, with slides launching next month.
From testing @pewbeam_ai in churches over the last four weeks, pastors have been able to focus on what matters instead of juggling or micromanaging the media team while preaching. Church members have been able to follow their pastor’s references in real time and take better notes. In the words of a member from one of the test churches: “Pewbeam changed the way I follow sermons in church completely.” This is the kind of impact I see Pewbeam having on people’s faith and on how church and worship are done.
Pewbeam’s mission is to ensure the Church is not left behind in the AI era. We’re starting with this application, with many more to come in the next few months. We’ll keep working with stakeholders in the Christian faith, collect feedback, and build tools that better support discipleship. And unlike previous waves of technology, I believe we can be among the first movers in this AI revolution.
With all that said, the final build of the app is ready, and we’re launching for public download on February 25, 2026. The app has a generous free tier for small churches and fellowships, and a paid plan (location-based pricing) that unlocks unlimited access to all features.
If you’ve been following this journey, I appreciate you, and I assure you it will be worth it.
Please download, subscribe, and use in your church.

I want to build a bible presentation AI agent for church use. Imagine Bible verses coming up on screen as the Pastor preaches just based on what he’s talking about or his paraphrases and quotes. I want to build this completely in public, starting today. Thoughts?

After I finish a design project,
the last thing I want to do is open Figma again just to make a post image.
I usually default to a plain screenshot.
That’s why I built Reframe.
(Entirely in @Figma Make!)
Paste any image — and an entire grid of layout options generates instantly.
Pick one.
Edit.
Copy.
Post.
No extra layout.
No extra steps.

AI and UI UX Design : The Truth
UI UX Designers are currently panicking about the capabilities of AI and many are already saying its taking away meaning from the career
But the truth is
AI is doing what you already hated doing. So why mad about it
- You hated designing from scratch. You were the reason UI kits were having thousands of downloads in the Figma community. You used kits mostly because you didn't want to spend time constructing the bare bones. You just wanted to add your taste to it
- You were already getting Framer and Webflow templates. You hated building yours from scratch. So why panic that AI is making it easier for you to do what you always wanted.
- You used to beg and gatekeep plugins that will spin up a design system, a landing page, etc. you were dying to have that. You loved those plugins because they made you work faster and allowed you focus on adding your taste and judgement to the design
- Back then after you used a UI Kit, you took pride in seeing that other designers can't tell that the design was from a UI Kit. It was a proud moment for you because you knew you could add unique taste and workflows to the UI Kit
Oh well,
AI is helping you save time even more. No need to scramble for UI Kits anymore. Prompt your UI
AI has not taken away your proud moment, your proud moment will still be the taste and experience you add to the prompted UI. That's your proud moment still
Your proud moment is still the judgement you hold about workflows, information design, content management, research, Typography, colour theory, accessibility, growth and business based decisions etc. those are still your proud moments
Let AI generate the UI for you. Stop going back and forth to the Figma community.
Embrace AI in your work process. But be a good designer first and study more.
Bad UI taste, Bad judgement, Bad workflows, bad experiences, bad business decisions.. etc. All of these will still happen, AI or not. This is where you differentiate yourself

After 5 months working for free and 10 months behind the scenes, today is one of the proudest days of my life as I officially announce the launch of @withtonyandco with our 2025 showreel.
I can't believe what started with a tweet asking for a shot at designing LP updates has led to this.
Thanks alot to @JayKapoorNYC, I can't restate how much of a mentor and immense help you have been,
To everyone who took sometime to teach us & given us a chance along the way in the VC space. I mean specifically @shavayiz, @katkennedyVC, @DarrelFrater, @imlaurieowen, @FunmiSoewu.
My friends @TamaraPosibi, @Xeunbadejo, @ObayagbonaPaul, @DevlinBlake @jobosonchisa, @TheWalePeters. You guys are everything a friend could ask for.
and to my awesome team mates, see you on slack tomorrow. 😂

I'll tell you what most won't.
The job market is brutal. You can't "show up" your way to a role, much less a gig, you'll burn out.
You're advantaged to be in an age where AI crashes every barrier to entry for anything. Make something instead. Something people need, can use and can't be without.
You'd either fail spectacularly enough to be noticed, or succeed enough to be acquired.
The ball is yours.
Serve.
