@anish_koka I don’t know. And to be honest I think many CA folks would still probably have approved of what was done. Although I am liberal I said from the start that prolonged lockdowns were not sustainable. Mitigation was what should have been the focus.

If California and Florida now have a similar age adjusted COVID mortality , is it not eminently reasonable to ask what exactly California’s lockdowns were for?

I was a research mentor this year. It’s a very comprehensive program that coaches mentees from under-represented groups in econ as they work on their own original research.
