In a pandemic, with millions already dead, whether an intervention helps with Covid is completely irrelevant. What matters is whether HCQ, IVM, D, zinc & other meds you bash HARM the patient and/or interfere with the standard of care.

@thtswatShaysaid 4 mo if you are a faithful Mormon with clout, 7 mo if you are Mormon, at least 10 months with likely denial otherwise. And that's the reality in this part of Idaho. It must be worse in Utah!

I submitted an IRB at 12:15pm today and got approved at 1:10pm today! And this is including revisions...HBS IRB is unmatched.

@causalinf I do that all the time, even in bad neighborhoods. Then again I am a tall black guy and nobody messes with me. Except the cops who hassle me.

So tempted to sleep in the parking lot to wait for this plane but that sounds like a bad idea.

This account just followed me. Blocked it immediately. EJMR Should be banned. It represents everything that is wrong with our profession, and we should have no tolerance towards it, much less, encourage the spread of its content.

@davidasinclair .@davidasinclair Increased NAD causes MANY problems like tumor growth, tumorigenesis, negates exercise performance & several other problems. E.g. see section 3.3.9 of PMID 31917996. We need large RCT's before you recommend unproven intervention$ like NMN.

A molecule in chocolate that's structurally related to resveratrol, epicatechin, increases NAD levels, glucose tolerance & metabolism in healthy mice in 15 days. The news keeps getting better & better mdpi.com/2072-6643/13/1…

What matters is: Do HCQ and ivermectin HARM the patient and/or interfere with the standard of care? And the answer is no, they don't. Which is why doctors should start using their brains and treat the patient with HCQ & IVM. @KrutikaKuppalli 3 of 3

Many HCQ & ivermectin-favoring doctors are rather iffy doctors who aren't into rigorous science and who don't understand rigorous science, agreed. @KrutikaKuppalli 1 of 3

@anish_koka I don’t know. And to be honest I think many CA folks would still probably have approved of what was done. Although I am liberal I said from the start that prolonged lockdowns were not sustainable. Mitigation was what should have been the focus.

If California and Florida now have a similar age adjusted COVID mortality , is it not eminently reasonable to ask what exactly California’s lockdowns were for?

@Claudia_Sahm 99% of mentoring of POC's by white folk is just posturing for the sake of other observers. I never had a mentor who was truly interested in mentoring.

I was a research mentor this year. It’s a very comprehensive program that coaches mentees from under-represented groups in econ as they work on their own original research.

@davidasinclair When billions and anti-aging come together, can we really trust anti-aging research? Esp. in the absence of large clinical trials?

Billionaires seem to be the biggest consumers of anti-aging products @davidasinclair, who wants clinical trials for Covid PrEP but doesn't mind if anti-aging has none. @ollieawilliams
