@matrigga

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. ~Winston Churchill

If this is an honest question, I’d say: Americans are rooting against America because we facilitated a genocide and followed it with a surprise attack on a girls elementary school followed by attacks on universities, medical centers, more schools, a world famous pharmaceutical research center, a volley ball team, an unfinished bridge we claimed was transporting weapons and then a nuclear power plant. We are now promising endless attacks on civilian infrastructure. We are hunting and targeting anyone who might be involved in ceasefire negotiations. Most people do not pay enough attention to have absorbed all the propaganda about the U.S. and Iran. So people coming to this fresh see us for what we are: absolute monsters. And monsters must be stopped. That’s why people are rooting against us and for civilization to prevail.

How did we get to the point Where so many Americans are rooting against America?

@BreakingNews I am horrified by the Maga types dehumanizing people by saying anyone did not want this guy rescued. That is a twisted mind. Our military is amazing! Getting that guy is a remarkable achievement! It is sad to see such greatness being wasted by incompetent leadership though.

In the words of Justice Jackson, this decision to allow conversion therapy "risks grave harm to Americans' health and wellbeing." As a father and LGBTQ+ advocate, I have one plea: get the government away from our children. I'm deeply disappointed in this terrible decision.
Human Rights Campaign Rapid Response@HRC

The Supreme Court has once again ignored the facts, allowing kids to be subjected to harmful, abusive, and discredited attempts to “convert” their gender identity or sexual orientation by licensed medical professionals. Children should NEVER be forced to endure these cruel practices — and our families deserve better.

@ByChrisGordon Ya this is all bullshit Iran killed the 1st pilot and captured the 2nd, using him as bait to lure any 'rescue' team in. And it worked spectacularly - 4 US aircraft downed, who knows how many casualties. US then fleeing the battlefield, humiliated.

U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drones protected the rescued F-15E crew member by striking Iranian military-aged males believed to be a threat who got within three kilometers of the Airman, a person familiar with the operation told Air & Space Forces Magazine.

This is not a coincidence. Hegseth is a racist and has the tattoo to prove it

Twenty-six generals and admirals in fourteen months. No misconduct cited for a single one. A former Fox News weekend host who never held a senior military command has removed the Joint Chiefs Chairman, the Army Chief of Staff, the commander of Army Transformation and Training, the Chief of Chaplains, and at least 22 other senior officers from the most powerful military on earth. He blocked four Army officers from promotion to brigadier general, two Black men and two women, by unilaterally striking their names from a list of 36. When Army Secretary Dan Driscoll refused to remove them, Hegseth did it himself. No hearing. No review board. No Senate consultation. The names were struck because the man who reads the list decided they should not be on it. The pattern is not random. It is architectural. Every removal serves the same function: shortening the distance between a presidential decision and its execution. The officers who remain are the ones who did not resist. The officers who resisted are gone. The replacement for the Army Chief of Staff is Vice Chief General Christopher LaNeve, who served as Hegseth’s personal military aide. The man who carried the briefcase now signs the orders. The chain of command has been rebuilt so that every link answers directly to the man who removed the previous link. General Randy George was the commander of the United States Army’s ground forces. That title matters now in a way it did not matter six weeks ago. Before February 28, ground forces in Iran were a theoretical exercise discussed in war colleges and think tanks. After five weeks of air strikes, with the IRGC publishing bridge target lists across four allied nations, with the President saying the military has “not even started” destroying what remains, with MEUs staged in the Gulf and the 82nd Airborne deploying and JSOC operators at forward bases in four countries, the ground option is no longer theoretical. It is a logistics package. And the man whose job was to assess whether that package should be opened was told to retire the same day the President posted “much more to follow.” Lieutenant General Hodne ran the command that trains every soldier who would execute a ground operation. Major General Green led the chaplain corps that would minister to every soldier who dies in one. George decided whether the operation should happen. Hodne prepared the soldiers to carry it out. Green prepared them to live with it. All three were removed on the same afternoon. Congress has not held a hearing. No subpoenas issued. The legal authority for a Defence Secretary to unilaterally override promotion lists and force immediate retirement of Senate-confirmed officers during wartime has not been tested because nobody with the authority to question it has chosen to. The IRGC has said attacks will “intensify from next week.” The Ford carrier is heading back. The CNN intelligence assessment confirms half of Iran’s launchers and thousands of drones remain. The President has named the next targets: power plants, desalination, oil wells, Kharg Island. And every general who might have said “this crosses a line” is already gone. Twenty-six officers. Zero misconduct findings. One question that every general still serving is asking behind closed doors: who is left to say no? And what happens when the answer is nobody? open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

The Catholic Church when a Catholic has a terminal illness: "This is all God's plan. Life is suffering. If you accept suffering gracefully as Jesus did on the cross, perhaps you will be granted happiness in the next life. Until then, you may rent this room to die in for $5000" The Catholic Church when a Somali Muslim lives in Somalia: "There is no way God could possibly tolerate this inhuman tragedy. All members of the community must give their money to ensure that this injustice cannot go on"

Just remind me ask - how was Europe consulted before this war was started by Israel and the US?
Amjad Taha أمجد طه@amjadt25

If Iran is not Europe’s burden, then is Ukraine only America’s cross to bear? What kind of doctrine is this, that danger is divided by borders, as if fire asks for passports before it burns?Every drone the UAE strikes from the sky is a shadow removed from a child in Kyiv, a life spared in Europe. Every missile intercepted is a storm cut short before it reaches another home. If this Islamic terrorist regime endures, it will not sit quietly. It will open the gates of the Middle East to darker powers, and the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be a passage, but a leash tightened around your food, your oil, your breath. Yet you watch. You weigh. You delay. You ask others to stand in the fire, and when the ashes settle, you stretch out your hands for the harvest. But justice is not shared with those who stood aside. Those who were silent in the hour of trial will not speak in the hour of victory. And the people of Iran, a nation of history and soul, will remember. They will remember who stood with their chains and who stood for their freedom. Do not preach peace while the flames rise. Do not speak of restraint while terror advances. You have taken up arms before, in lands far from your own( Libya , Syria ,Iraq ) when it served your will. Now the truth stands before you, clear as light yet you turn away. A house divided against truth will not stand. And those who make peace with darkness will one day answer for the night they chose.
