China and Russia are not trying to save Iran emotionally. They are using Iran strategically. Their goal is very simple, they want the U.S. exhausted, distracted, and weakened. They want America stuck in another Middle East crisis. They want U.S. military attention diverted from Ukraine, Taiwan, and the Indo-Pacific. They want Gulf countries to question whether America is still a stabilising force or the biggest source of instability. That is why Russia and China are not directly entering the war. Because from their point of view, the best outcome is not to fight the U.S. directly. The best outcome is to let the U.S. burn its money, military strength, credibility, and global influence slowly. They want America tired. They want America stretched. They want America weak. And that is exactly what is happening.

As a capitalist, I typically would object to any such statement. However, two things are true: 1) Our manufacturing industry is critical to our long-term national security, and thus must be kept alive. 2) China is actively subsidizing their car (and other) industries, and could easily overrun the US auto market if we were to allow them in.

No Chinese cars on America’s roads. None whatsoever. Not today, not tomorrow.
