Fully set up my @openclaw and now I have my 24/7 personal assistant + coding agent for $5/month. Easy to setup, I just got claude and codex to help me with Hetzner for VPS, and now I get some of my favorite use cases 24/7: - have a new project idea? Instead of just writing in my todo list, tell Clawdy (my assistant) to start helping me do relevant research, set up a new repo, or even start coding. - look through my task list, calendar, emails to help me plan my day and keep track of tasks - periodic reminders that I need (no longer need to go through Apple Reminders app just tell Clawdy) - X's search, including posts you've seen, I find pretty bad, I just get Clawdy to look for me with bird cli, much more likely to find a tweet I forgot to bookmark. @nikitabier checkout @steipete 's clawd.bot and set yourself up with a personal assistant

see more notifications than usual -> take a look -> oh it's just @amorriscode popping off. one of the best at actually collecting feedback and taking action on it. Share any others, we need more.

Keep seeing people, like @tobi @0xSero , rave about pi-mono, and with the rebirth of GUIs, thinking to make a Pi desktop app. Is there already one that I don't know about? @badlogicgames looking to make a pi-core-server similar to codex-app-server, please lmk if complete crap idea :) will be clanker slop

@mattlam_ @tobi @0xSero websocket server, allows you to: - list/delete/create/resume/join sessions (multiple clients can mutate the same session concurrently with queuing) - command interface similar to the current rpc mode - other stuff i haven't thought through yet

@badlogicgames @tobi @0xSero Makes sense, can you share any high-level constraints you already expect for integrating the future pi server, even if the design isn’t settled yet? For example: - preferred integration boundary: package APIs vs subprocess/JSON mode - whether sessions/threads will be first-class

@mattlam_ @tobi @0xSero i have big plans for a server ala codex-app-server, but can't give an ETA. knock yourself out (but needs to live outside of pi-mono i'm afraid)

Claude desktop is one of the most important daily apps, as it combines Cowork (personal assistant ie Anthropic Openclaw) and Claude Desktop (coding). There some minor fixes that 10x's the UX for users, hopefully @felixrieseberg @amorriscode can push out: - notifications seem unreliable to me, especially in claude code desktop, when I'm on Cowork, i've noticed it not giving a notification when cc is done. - shortcuts to navigate between chats, not clicking to select chats - notifications for cowork/cc always bring me to top of convo and I need to manually scroll down each time - /plugins: cowork allows managing plugins on app, but claude code desktop doesn't - overall feature parity with claude code cli
Felix Rieseberg@felixrieseberg

We're shipping a new feature in Claude Cowork as a research preview that I'm excited about: Dispatch! One persistent conversation with Claude that runs on your computer. Message it from your phone. Come back to finished work. To try it out, download Claude Desktop, then pair your phone.

@amorriscode @mattlam_ @felixrieseberg Claude Code lacks the visualization experiences you get in Claude Desktop Chat. It's also better for researching. Sometimes I want to combine these capabilities

@amorriscode @felixrieseberg im curious how you guys keep track of all these and prioritize actually. Previously tried backlog in notion, but with agents it feel like an unnecessary extra step, and quickly falls apart. anyone with specific role to prioritize, or pretty free for all, etc.

Hot take from looking at @github Copilot telemetry: benchmarks make coding models look wildly different. Production workflows make them look much more similar. 👀 We looked at 23M+ Copilot requests and examined one simple metric: code survivability.

@amorriscode @RobertJBye @felixrieseberg I was the same for awhile with cmux, but with the shipping speed of Anthropic and OpenAI, hard not to move to what they're focused on. Anthropic will obviously move to combine everything (Cowork + Claude Desktop) more, so soon everyone will be GUI.
