Let's recognize this was a 'battle, not the war'. The war is funding, developing and mobilizing a public school system where learning is thrilling and devoted to improving the lot of humanity and the planet. Keeping kids in school is minimalist.

Lecce & Ford handed out over $1B to parents; cut over $1B from provincial revenues when they cancelled the license sticker fee; they are spending hundreds of thousands fighting in courts; and have billions in surplus revenues. But it’s @osbcucscso who will bankrupt the province!!

We’ve hired nearly 7,000 more education workers and delivered nearly $3 billion in additional funding for publicly funded schools. But none of this matters unless kids are in school, where they belong.

Some students do not have devices at home. Some students do not have reliable access to the internet. Some students do not have a safe/quiet space to work. Some students have needs that prevent them from learning via devices. We need a plan for ALL students in all boards.
