I’m seriously considering legally changing my name to Erica Hendrix Moise. I’d still go by Hendrix. However, certain groups of people think throwing the name “Erica” at me is some type of insult or slur. It’s meant to hurt me since in my original detransition post I said my birth name was associated with a lot of trauma. This way, I reclaim my birth name and birth right to it & take away anyone’s ability to drag the name that made me through the mud. My mother named me after Susan Lucci’s “All My Children” character Erica Kane. I guess because she was strong and a total bitch in the show 💅
