Looking at opinions of Khaman Maluach has surprised me. People think he is more of a project player that needs an insane amount of development before getting real playing time. I disagree.
Just watching the last 3 games, his transition defence is really good. But his anticipation surprises me the most. 7 footers early on often play sort of awkwardly and can just learning basic things, but Maluach is forcing them into help side rotations, and playing like a man among boys. We have seen some really good processing speed from him.
As well as seeing him being an incredible defensive anchor for Phoenix’s defence looks positive for the future.
Lastly his 3 point ability has been special. 40% from 3 through 3 games… 👀, Phoenix might finally have a stretch big on their hands 🔥
We have seen major development on his game, he bulked up and put in the work for a good month and a half already. Excited to see what comes for Man-man… 🤗

It's likely that Demin remains a negative on offense for the rest of his NBA career but he's actually turning out to be a good defender, which means that he will exceed my expectations because I never thought that he would be good at anything.
