What provinces would you accept in exchange for Vermont? Obviously, Ontario, Quebec, BC. I think Alberta is a clear win, too, with oil + Connor McDavid. Big cliff at that point imo.

What’s your most hated programming “best practice”? I absolutely hate DRY. Devs follow it religiously and it leads to unnecessarily abstracted code to avoid copy-pasting a handful of lines

Computers have insanely better CPUs and much more RAM nowadays, yet they feel slower than 20 years ago.
I used to think it happens because computers do more useful work.
Turns out, better hardware is more forgiving to crappy coding practices.
