So when I'm not powerpuffing for @SOCKETProtocol (IYKYK), I like to do some animation and this time I decided to keep iterating on this @0xfluid one (with a more "watery" touch). Hope you like it! Shoutout to @ad_git for the feedback😉

Animating web3 projects - @0xfluid Had some free time this pm so figured out I would animate their logo. Simple approach, could finetune the wave but it's still something. Love their brand, can't wait to see what they have in store for us! Have some motion ideas for them👀

Working on @rive_app Academy Volume 2. It's insane how powerful and easy this tool is. Wiring together nested inputs and events lets you create basically anything. Artwork by @LauKitton. Try clicking the bean boi. rive.app/s/7jfMJ2l8z0_K…

A post on the different factors that motivate me to be active in a web3 community. I believe everyone can learn from this: farmers, web3 enthusiasts, and builders alike. 1. Being early Business is business. And I think about everything in terms of R:R and opportunity cost. Being early means you have a higher chance of maximizing rewards — which is always a motivator for joining web3 communities. It also means you were among the first set of people to believe in the project's vision — this is your edge. Many people were around when bitcoin came around but not all of them saw the vision. Project founders/team members appreciate this. You get a better chance to make valuable connections and also (maybe) earn important roles. 2. Active team What's the point of being in a community if the team isn't IN the community? An active team is even more important than being early cause I won't get in the trenches for anyone who isn't in the trenches. Not only should the team be active, they should also demonstrate a good understanding of web3 culture. Bonus points if it's the founder in the trenches: think @rushimanche. But it can also be a designated community leader like Alucard (Eclipse) or Bread (MegaETH). If there are project founders wondering what this does: it showcases your belief in the community, because there is no greater currency than time. Spending time with your community is the biggest investment you can make in growing the community. It also gives you more surface area to connect with the community and for people to connect with your project. 3. Clear objectives and communication This means a clear role or reward for constant activity. I enjoy gamified experiences so having a role or rank tier reward is always encouraging. As for communication, this ties in with #2 above. Team should always reach out, express ideas to the community, and also take and implement feedback. They should make the community feel a sense of ownership in the project. Study @movementlabsxyz. Frequent group calls and AMAs are a good way to set/communicate objectives. 4. Entry barriers Entry barriers are always low if you are early. When I'm not early, I look to see if the people in the community are having fun/passionate, and if the barrier for entry is attainable. Entry into Monad after the Wormhole airdrop was super difficult with the many gated communities. It also became reliant on making art/memes at a point. However, Movement had the Gorilla Moverz as the entry community into the Movement ecosystem. Gorillas had so many active Movement OGs who were ready to support regardless of your status. And this was after most of them had gotten huge $MOVE allocations. That was motivating for me. From a project perspective the barrier for entry should increase as the project gains more recognition to reward/elevate the early believers. For new users/speculators entry should be reasonably attainable to present a good R:R. Else the opportunity cost becomes too much, and it might be best to focus on other endeavors. PS: I write from the POV of a small account. Big accounts can cross entry barriers because they have leverage. As a small account your main leverage is time, and spending time is more effective when you are early or have access to privileged information — also. 5. Great product/project Having your own version of gm isn't enough. The project looking to cultivate a community should be building an actual impactful product that the community can be proud to adopt and represent. There are many examples of projects trying to cultivate a community without actually building anything exciting. You should be building something that serves a real purpose and gets the community excited. I'll conclude this post with some alpha: @SOCKETProtocol is one project I see that meets all of the above criteria. I'd say this is a chance to get involved with something big while it's super early. I believe they are building towards a great vision and building with the community in mind, which is bullish. Only one set of powerpuffs (the base community role) have been accepted so far. There will be more. What you can do now is join the discord, connect with the community and team and support the vision. The team @vaibhavchellani, @dheerajshah and co are more terminally online than me so you will definitely get noticed. Thanks for reading me. I hope to do more of this.

People are losing money on memecoins, AI tokens, and other alts. I got rekt, too. We've minted so many tokens that this flush will help the market heal mid-term. Hopefully, from the ashes, new, innovative, and less exploitative token opportunities will emerge.

Great reading on @0xfluid , covers everything you need to know about it.
meow@weremeow

new essay: on fluid there is endless talk about all the foundations n vcs that "represent" ethereum, but far too little focus on the actual builders that actually push ethereum forward. let's change that. in this essay, i write about the concepts behind @0xfluid, the groundbreaking protocol built by my good friends and long term collaborators @smykjain, @sowmay_jain and @thrilok_kumar, who have been grinding away endlessly improving ethereum for years w little attention. i was heavily involved in ethereum from 18-20, including being part of key ideas like smart accounts and wbtc, and it kinda tough to see the current identity crisis engulfing the ecosystem. it is my strong belief that focusing on the builders who are actually pushing the technical limits of ethereum forward is the only way for the community to emerge stronger than before. link: meow.bio/on-fluid.html

Ok this is cool. You see a lot of buzzwords about web3 products, but really think this is a game changer. Easily swapped EURc into EURe thanks to @BungeeExchange. This used to be a pain in the ass with lof of swaps and bridging, but this UX is seamless. Congratz to the team.
