@zendadddy you can also just tell your agent “commit and push (make sure i’m not on main)” whenever you wanna save something, this is what i do now

@zendadddy noticed you say you don’t commit. this is a big one! i’d commit a lot. basically like save points in a video game. if something breaks, you can get your agent to find when it was working last, look at what changed, and use that to pinpoint the problem

I hate to admit it, but sometimes I spent hours wrestling with Cursor on prototypes I could have built in Figma in half the time. The first 5 mins are epic - I'm moving so quickly. But as the proto gets more complex, something breaks, then I spend the afternoon trying to undo and fix it. Anyone else feeling this? Some kinda weird AI sunk cost or perceived productivity thing happening. There's gotta be a word for it.

@zendadddy this usually doesn’t happen for me. i can see that happening if it involves lots of motion or moving pieces. if i have a general idea of how id implement it myself, its usually fine. things go off the rails when i dont know whats happening, the n you cant really debug

beyond tokenmaxxing the new traces contribution graph is a new view of your team's sessions over time, and a small step in giving you better tools to understand and analyze your sessions now live for all teams on @tracesdotcom

@tarunsachdeva wow really appreciate the UI. Did you hire designer? how did you manage that? for me it is a very refreshing layout and well polished color theme.

designers, how do you get consistent, high-quality ui from claude code? i’m rebuilding my site and even with a live reference, i still run into tons of design edge cases how are you handling this?

i've basically dropped issue tracking the best way to see what our team is working on is to look at the traces

@tracesdotcom Amazing project Great product Blazing fast customer service (big up @maxoulos) No more excuses not to share your agent traces with the world. The future of AI is open source

We keep saying we want open-source frontier agents. Fine. Then let’s build the dataset. @badlogicgames, creator of Pi, just shared some of his agent traces used to build Pi on @huggingface. I’m now sharing some of mine too, exporting them from @hermes, @opencode, and Claude via @tracesdotcom, and I’ll keep going. Why this matters: one of the biggest bottlenecks for open-source agent models is the data. And all of us are generating that data every day through our conversations with agents. If enough builders share even a slice of their traces publicly, we can create the largest crowdsourced open dataset for agents. Time to put your tokens where your mouth is and give a chance for open source to win!

@ClementDelangue @badlogicgames @huggingface @HERMES @opencode I downloaded it but it's somehow weird. I can only see traces from today itself (and not all of them are here) plus it's populated of CC traces which I never used today and are impossible to open. Any idea how to access past traces and fix that mess? even "traces list" fails

People who like sharing agent traces. I've just published all my pi-mono coding agent sessions on @huggingface so you get to laugh at or pwn me! huggingface.co/datasets/badlo… I suggest you do the same, see thread below. Let's make this a community effort. Here's pi-share-hf: github.com/badlogic/pi-sh… If you are working on tools that help identify PII/sensitive data, get in touch. The better the classification is, the more willing people will be to share their traces.
