Introducing Traces A new way to share and discover traces from coding agents, and a small step to make AI more multiplayer. Here's how it works:

it's been a longstanding dream of mine build an ai system that can tell a compelling story. it's what got me started in the space in the beginning, and with Hermes Agent I finally pulled it off 100% written, typeset, etc. by Hermes Agent those at our gtc event got hard copies🤗

@skanwar @chrislevan @tarunsachdeva You guys make whatever you can out of it but the reality that can't be ignored is that Canada has the most number of startup programs but not much venture creation. Had over 10K+ folks who opened the list. May not be relevant to you @skanwar but it is for many.

The shaping happens upstream now. Specs, guardrails, constraints, examples, that's where you shape the codebase. Then I let the agent work, have another model verify it, and review periodically myself. Not in the loop on every line, but watching the work. Feels more like directing than disconnected.

It could be that code review may be a temporary bottleneck today because chatting with an agent does not yet feel like "shaping" a codebase in the same way tangibly writing the code does, it is far too disconnected. An interesting design problem.

This is what I live for, these 2 random weeks before spring that Costco decides to sell fresh passionfruit straight from Zimbabwe

I'm trying to use Claude Cowork but having major performance issues. Yesterday I tried with highlighting rows in a Google sheet and doing it manually was faster. Tried Haiku, Sonnet & Opus. But it still feels like I'm holding this wrong. Anyone else having similar issues?

@tarunsachdeva 1. Browser use is still slower than manual. You should only do it if you're thinking it's going to be done asynchronously 2. I don't think Claude Cowork is a product that's ready for use yet
