@FounderEric @skanwar @chrislevan all good man, just having some laughs here, no ill will. respect for all your work
English

@skanwar @chrislevan @tarunsachdeva You guys make whatever you can out of it but the reality that can't be ignored is that Canada has the most number of startup programs but not much venture creation.
Had over 10K+ folks who opened the list. May not be relevant to you @skanwar but it is for many.

you can't just count coffeeshops with wifi as accelerators

@ahmednadar yeah i see it as additive not a all out replacement yet

The shaping happens upstream now. Specs, guardrails, constraints, examples, that's where you shape the codebase.
Then I let the agent work, have another model verify it, and review periodically myself. Not in the loop on every line, but watching the work. Feels more like directing than disconnected.

@BrennerSpear ah that's interesting how mileage is so varied
English

@BrennerSpear i wonder if its just the chrome extension, i'm gonna try in the native app too
English

@tarunsachdeva 1. Browser use is still slower than manual. You should only do it if you're thinking it's going to be done asynchronously
2. I don't think Claude Cowork is a product that's ready for use yet
English

@skanwar listen man i'm here for twitter points not intellectual honesty

@sergical @dillionverma thank you! great event, great tech, great people, amazing pies
English

one of my favourite parts of today was @dillionverma saying “this is exactly the type of event I wanted it to be”
and people asking “when is the next one going to happen”
privileged and grateful that we made it happen in such a short amount of time and it turned out pretty fucking cool
thank you to @DanielGri , @mitsuhiko and @badlogicgames for joining from Austria
thank you to @bentlegen, @tarunsachdeva and Alec for showing us some cool shit IRL
thank you to @cairox100v, @newsystems_ and @internetvin for the space to do this
thank you to @sentry for the pies
thanks to my wife for all the help
thanks to everyone showing up in person and joining the stream
stay tuned for more

And here's the trace that led to this (in pi, ofcourse):

(yeah, that session definitely started left field lol)

Just put this together for the Pi day demo at @newsystems_. GitHub here:

psh: a small natural-language shell wrapper powered by the pi agent by @badlogicgames
- Type plain language and it translates to bash via pi -p.
- Built-in safety + optional confirmation flow.
- Optional bypass with `//`

@ahmednadar this is so cool Ahmed, didn’t you work on something like this at program Toronto last year??
