The Green Party of Canada leader is a liberal Zionist who wants us to believe that Israel will be cured of its genocidal sickness if Netanyahu is removed from power.
She fanatically opposes BDS.
After the genocide in Gaza began, she attended a ceremony at the Israeli embassy in Canada to commemorate October 7.
She supported a radical Zionist, Annamie Paul, in the 2020 Green Party leadership contest. After narrowly winning that contest, Paul nearly destroyed the Green Party with her pro-Israel extremism.
@elizabethmay is a fraud. As long as she is associated in any way with Canada’s Green Party, Canadian voters should avoid @canadiangreens like the plague.

Now it appears the US is doing the same in Iran.
A 2000lb bomb was dropped on a family house in Qeshm, killing a taxi driver (the father), the mother, and a 2-year-old, according to @nytimes.

President Trump again called off strikes on Iran—this is a good decision. It is clear that he wants out of this war, for all the obvious reasons. It is also clear that Iran will not simply return the SOH to how it was before the war. We need to accept that we can’t use military force to open the SOH (we’ve tried that) without a catastrophic escalation into a bloody, years-long war. Now is the time for President Trump to pull our troops out of the region. He can declare victory (reiterate the previously stated goal—no nukes—was met) & quietly use the carrot of sanctions relief to open the SOH once our troops are out of harm’s way. If we stay, we risk accelerating an escalation/retaliation cycle we can’t control.

The Gulf countries FEAR Iran. This is irrefutable after the events of the past week. Saudi, the UAE, Qatar… they know that Iran can hit them at will.
This is one of the greatest points of leverage now for Iran, and it essentially locks Trump in to the dueling blockades as the only strategy now.
Iran has proven to the world, and more importantly the GCC, that U.S. military defenses are incapable of defending their most important economic infrastructure against a $30,000 drone.
This newfound power… control… is something that will greatly diminish the United States’ global standing for years after this war. The damage to US reputation as a defensive partner will last for DECADES as a result of this failure.
All that Trump has now is the dueling blockades. All eyes should be solely fixated on the Omani Route. Many people are underestimating the traffic moving through here. While it is certainly nowhere close to enough… the mainstream reporting is only focused on AIS visible transits, and that’s missing a big piece of the puzzle.
With the Gulf countries now absolutely TERRIFIED of Iran, Washington’s only hope is to establish a SAFE corridor through the Omani channel. All indications point to the fact that they are militarily incapable of doing so, but if there is anything to watch right now…
It’s the Omani Channel.
