Hello dear @WAX_io community, Over the past weeks I’ve received many messages asking whether the WAX Holidays Calendar will be held this year. After careful consideration — and given the current low activity and interest levels on WAX — I’ve decided not to run the event this season. I know this may disappoint some of you, and I truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm. As a token of my gratitude for your patience and loyalty, I’d like to offer each of you a free NFT — the WHC mascot this month. You can find the drop link in first comment on this post. While I understand many were looking forward to WHC, I’m hopeful that if the situation on WAX improves in the future, we’ll be able to bring it back. L-am primit astăzi, la Palatul Cotroceni, pe generalul Alexus G. Grynkewich, Comandantul Suprem al Forțelor Aliate din Europa (SACEUR) și al Comandamentului European al Armatei Statelor Unite ale Americii (USEUCOM). Este o vizită importantă care are loc într-un context internațional tot mai complicat, în care România își întărește dialogul cu Aliații și cu partenerii strategici, astfel încât să avem garanția menținerii păcii pe continentul nostru, iar fiecare român să fie în siguranță. Am discutat cu generalul Grynkewich despre consolidarea posturii Aliate pe întreg Flancul Estic, de la Marea Baltică la Marea Neagră, și i-am transmis preocuparea României față de încălcările repetate ale spațiului nostru aerian de către drone rusești. De aceea, apreciem foarte mult lansarea Operației Eastern Sentry, inițiată de către SACEUR și având ca obiectiv protejarea spațiului aerian aliat. Pentru îndeplinirea acestor misiuni, au fost dislocate inclusiv în România capacități suplimentare de monitorizare și de interceptare a dronelor. Au fost abordate și perspectivele de pace în Ucraina, România fiind gata să susțină acest proces. Securitatea la Marea Neagră a fost un alt punct al dialogului cu generalul Grynkewich. Am reafirmat obiectivul României de a găzdui și a asuma conducerea Comandamentului grupării de forțe navale pentru Marea Neagră al NATO, începând cu anul 2028. Parteneriatul strategic cu SUA rămâne puternic, iar generalul Grynkewich a mulțumit României pentru modul în care își îndeplinește angajamentele în cadrul NATO, inclusiv prin alocări bugetare semnificative, investite inclusiv în echipamente și capabilități militare americane.

I am deeply concerned by the escalation in public statements between transatlantic partners and allies regarding recent developments. We have to resume talking directly to each other, at the appropriate diplomatic levels.
