His name is Sameer Wankhede. He is a 2008 batch IRS officer. In 2021 he led India’s biggest drug bust on a cruise ship. He arrested Aryan Khan. The political backlash was immediate. He was transferred out of NCB. Sent to Chennai. A tribunal later called the transfer arbitrary and biased. Then in 2025 the government issued a chargesheet against him. Three years after the events. A tribunal quashed it in January 2026. Called it malice and abuse of process. The government went to the Delhi High Court. Got the order reversed. Last week the Supreme Court said the government appointed an inquiry officer without giving him a chance to respond. That is a basic right. He did his job. India made sure he paid for it.

There is a footover bridge at Borivali station that connects to platform 4/5 or 6/7, but on one side it has an UP escalator and an elevator on the other. Basically, the only way you can go down is a lift. 100 folks push themselves in that stupid lift only to realise that 30% will have to get out due to weight restrictions. And that itself starts a circus. Kaun niklega. Body profiling happens. The entire one way thing takes a minute or two with arguing and whatnot. Meanwhile the youth are trying to skip this stupidity by running down the UP escalator. I've seen this chaos many times. And all I can think is: Ek langde ke liye 100 jan ko apahij kiya. I'm not against inclusion. But I'm really against dumbfuck railway babus who think with a disabled brain.
