I have no idea if LeBron can will this #Lakers group to three more, but it must be said that the level at which he is playing at age 41 is unprecedented. Whatever your perspective is on him, if you can’t appreciate this level of historical greatness I don’t know what to tell you.

Unpopular opinion: hitters in Major League Baseball have never been better. I don’t care if the league is hitting .233. The average pitcher today is magnitudes filthier when compared to 30, 40, 50 years ago. Even bottom tier arms are nasty. Drop today’s .240 hitter into 1990 and he’s hitting .300. Drop him into 1960 and he’s batting .350. If Ted Williams faced guys like Skenes, Skubal, McLean, Mason Miller, etc, etc, day in and day out, I don't think he'd be a .300 hitter. Batting averages didn’t fall off because hitters went downhill. They fell because pitching turned into a video game with the sliders all the way on max. Today, guys have a lifetime of specialized training to dominate one or six innings at a time. Back then, some of these dudes would pitch 9 innings on Sunday then have to clock in for their shift at the steel mill Monday morning.

Watching the progressive commentary over the @JoeSquawk - @PeteButtigieg spat is enlightening because it shows how little the left knows about economics, or understands economic history. Buttigieg is literally taking credit for bringing the RATE of inflation down by the end of the Biden presidency, ignoring the fact that he RATE hit 9% and prices remained elevated throughout the @JoeBiden years because of trillions of dollars in unnecessary fiscal stimulus and Fed money printing. Prices NEVER came down; it's one big reason @KamalaHarris lost (that plus the Dem Party believes men can be women and women men, but I'll save that for another posting). @realDonaldTrump inherited those elevated prices. He also grew the economy without a massive uptick in inflation. Ok the war will have an economic impact, but the people who think this guy "won" an argument about inflation really need to take econ 101. Also where was Pete during the supply-chain crisis? Paternity leave? What a joke
