@BarstoolNate@BrokeBoyCap What do you mean by “how it’s done?” How else would it be done? Everyone sane person knows that an autograph takes a split second to do.
@BrokeBoyCap Absolutely. My question is more why does him doing that make it more important? The .5 seconds he scribbles adds importance, but when you see how it’s done, it makes me wonder why.
This is why I’ve never understood the idea of autographs. Why does him half assed signing his initials add value to the poster? What’s the value he’s adding here? I get an artist signing their 1/1 paintings, but this, no.
@TheDCoverAlbum@SaffronOlive I think you need to realize that your opinion is not the same as the community’s. Also, “$$$” is exactly what is driving UB. I’d be willing to bet that even if anti-UB folks took a stand and committed to avoid buying UB product, some of those sets would still sell like crazy.
@parkosworld@KingBenny210 Damn, I’ve been picking up Gogos for most of my red decks, but I didn’t even think to put it in my Coram deck. And now it seems so obvious 😂
@ThePfef If you’re in red, want your creatures to have riot, don’t want damage to be prevented, and don’t want your stuff to be countered, something tells me you’re not worried about being able to counter your opponents’ stuff
@VoxyTwitch@TravisGafford I think it's hard to get excited about another vehicles set so soon after Aetherdrift. More distance between the sets would probably have done it some good
@steiner175@SaffronOlive How much really needs to be said other than what you just said yourself? It’s an ability we already have, now just on a creature.
I think this card is pretty bad, but it is funny you can use it to permanently steal an opposing commander by blowing it up and reanimating it since the entire spell needs to resolve before there's a window to put it back in the command zone.
Call of Duty's statement explaining why they're removing regular BR solos for Casual Solos
"While we understand the impact this will have for players who prefer core BR solos, it is a compromise we're comfortable with given the large engagement with other playlist options."
@ConnorCoultrup@Intrepid_Tautog I guess I’m just missing why you’d think that. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s not a commonly used mechanic, but I feel like it works exactly as stated.
@ImSupper18@twistedmimo@KathleenWinche3 2^30 = 1,073,741,824 pennies = $10 mil but that would be after 31 days since the second day you only have 2 pennies. So it'd actually be about $5.3 mil. after 30 days.
@Intrepid_Tautog How does this work? Because as a sorcery, it wouldn’t be on the field during your upkeep - ever. So it wouldn’t be around to be copied. Very confusing card.
@kgbegoodtome@FontMasterFlex7@omniscientlemon@MilkBoi0602@BashingBen@wildstwawberry Even if I have zero intention of trying to win with commander damage, those are two cards I want in the deck anyway. And in an entire Temur deck led by a dragon, there’s not going to be anything else that happens to provide at least a +1/+0 pump? I don’t know about that.
@kgbegoodtome@FontMasterFlex7@omniscientlemon@MilkBoi0602@BashingBen@wildstwawberry Now, because it has a big ETB effect, and we’re in blue, I like flicker spells. And two of the first ones I think of are Planar Incision and Essence Flux, which will both put a +1/+1 counter on the creature. Just like that, we’re in two-shot territory now.
@kgbegoodtome@omniscientlemon@MilkBoi0602@BashingBen@FontMasterFlex7@wildstwawberry Yes, it’s always part of the game. But not always a big threat. But when someone has a 10/10 flying commander with solid protection, and in colors that are good at counters, buffs, haste, and trample, then maybe, just maaayyybee commander damage becomes way more relevant.
@omniscientlemon@MilkBoi0602@BashingBen@FontMasterFlex7@wildstwawberry If you want to try to make this a commander damage win con I don’t think it’s a good game plan to build around. Yes it’s possible a few games that will be relevant but ureni cares much more about flooding the board
